During the 1980's a fair number of ninja movies were made. Many were poor due to the fact that they concentrated too much on the fantasy elements of traditional ninja, and as a consequence many were simply too far fetched. For me one of the greatest stars of ninja films of this era was Sho Kosugi. Sho Kosugi managed to give his films a serious element of realism. Whilst Enter the Ninja concentrates largely on Franco Nero's character, Sho Kosugi has a great part in the film as a disillusioned bad guy. The film is a more serious look into the world of ninjas and actually attempts to put a decent plot into the movie

Advantages: Cute game but fun for all ages. Disadvantages: Not very challenging, and not one you'll want to play twice.
I didn't really know what to expect from Mini Ninjas and I must admit this was added to my Boomerang Games rental list purely because I thought it sounded cute. It's rare a game involving fighting can also be described as cute, but this is exactly what this offering from Eidos Interactive gives us.
What's it all about?
You play as Hiro the ninja, who starts off in his village (oh yes we've heard this one before...) and goes off to training. His training teacher tells him he's a natural with 'Kuji magic' and sends him out into the evil samurai filled world to ultimately kill the dreaded Evil Samurai Warlord, who we meet in various cut scenes. Along the way Hiro encounters some bosses with rather amusing names... such as the boss who fires fart clouds at you and is aptly named Boss Windy Pants or how about killing Boss Timid ...
In 'Ninja Terminator', an all-action martial arts tale, three Ninjas must compete for a statue of the Golden Ninja Warrior which embodies the divine power of the Ninja Empire. In 'Ninja Dragon' only one man can stop the mayhem on the Great Shanghai streets... He is the Ninja Dragon.
