Gone in 60 Seconds:
Gone In 60 Seconds: Remake of the 1974 classic car-chase movie. Nicolas Cage is Randall 'Memphis' Raines, a legendary car thief. When he retired car crimes fell by almost 50%, but he is being forced out to retirement to save his brother Kip from an evil mobster, Raymond Calitri. Kip has to find 50 cars by Friday or he will be killed. Randall gets his old team back (including Robert Duvall and Vinnie Jones) to save his brother's life. Directed by Dominic Sena, GONE IN 60 SECONDS isn't as impressive, and although Cage is cool, Angelina Jolie doesn't do much. Director Sena (SWORDFISH) spends too much time on un-interesting sup-plots and not enough on fun action set-pieces. The last 20 minutes are very exciting though, with a montage of high-speed chases in trademark Bruckheimer style. Not as good as THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, but if you want a fast car chase flick with incredible action, then this is a must.
The rock: The Rock is an extraordinary action film with pure adrenaline pumping in its veins as lethal VX gas threatens to kill hundreds of thousand in the San Francisco bay area. This will lead into a high speed nitroglycerine race against time where a group of highly trained marines led by Brigadier General Francis X. Hummel (Ed Harris) decides to turn into a terrorist. Hummel invades Alcatraz and takes tourists' hostage as he plans to shoot rockets with lethal VX gas into the city of San Francisco, unless the United States answers his demands. The United States answers by sending a group of Navy SEALS led by Commander Anderson (Michael Biehn) and two oddities, a geriatric ex-SAS operative and a tense chemist. The story is well balanced with good actors and well developed characters
Face/off: well what can i say... I think this is the one to watch out of them. the story line of this movie isn't the best i've seen in my life but i have to say it had some pretty nice action, there's tons of language in it and lots of explotions! Great for action lovers

Advantages: Three films with Nicolas Cage in. Disadvantages: Not his best three
I'm a big fan of Nicolas Cage and generally like or love all of his films. ill start with "The Rock" i enjoyed this film alot its not my favourite of the three but still a good film. its a good story about a group of commandos who steal chemical weapons in the form of missiles, then set them up in Alcatraz. . the commandos are demanding $100 million which the leader General Hummel intends to pay to families of soldiers that died in war and received ... ...the ransom being for profit there using to help people. however the government decide to send in chemical expert Dr. Stanley Goodspeed played brilliantly by Nicolas Cage. with the help of Navy seals and the only man ever to escape from Alcatraz; John Patrick Mason played by Sean Connery. his character is outstanding and in my opinion the best. at first he refuses to help and tries to escape, but Dr. Stanley Goodspeed persuades him and the two form ...

Advantages: Action packed and all together Disadvantages: Face/Off can be a little confusing
Nicolas Cage maybe my most loved actor ever! in all 3 films he gives incredible performaces combined with amazing action shots that would put a lot of films to shame.
The Rock:
With a rouge general and special forces team loose of Alcatraz with enough missiles and VX gas to destroy most of San fransico. Only an FBI lab rat has the knowledge and cool to disarm the weapons. Teaming up with Sean Connery the only man to ever break ou of the infamous ... ...he is trying to save but 5 million others as well.
Face/Off:
Sean Archer the governments top agent agianst terrorist Castor troy, first has to become him before he can stop him. When castor troy (Cage) kills Archers(Travlota) son. It becomes his personal mission to extract revenge. however when Troy is caught and put in a coma, the only way Archer can find out where he left a bomb is to immpersonate him and convince his brother to talk. ...The film also stars Nicholas Cage as a rather dopey, but smart, chemical war fare cop. Goodspeed is a rather soft guy, and not your typical hero. A group of ex-army men break into alcatraz and hold to ransom a group of tourist, while using chemical rockets aimed at several major American cities. Sean Connery then has to break in, as he was the only man to ever escape the acclaimed unbreakable prison. Goodspeed goes with him to disarm the bomb. What ... ...Face Off stars Nicholas Cage and John Travolta as a rather unbelievable bad criminal. In a rather unbelieveable story they actually swap faces in a high tech future world. This story is a bit dry and unbeleiveable, but it can be a good film to watch if there is nothing else on.
Gone in 60 seconds is a great action packed film. Full of fast cars, sexy women and men. Nicholas Cage stars as a very good car jacker. He and his gang have just a few hours ...

Advantages: i personaily think that 2 out 0f 3 of these films are brilliant really worth watching Disadvantages: has to be the fact it has the film the rock
I sat down to watch face off with out reading about it,or having even read the back of the dvd case. but it had nicolas cage in so i thought why not and i really really enjoyed the film. i think i have seen it about 12 times now.. it still makes me laugh now. gone in 60 secounds was just a well thought out dvd. it made me laugh. shocked me and made me worried in places i really enjoyed watching it. The rock.. i just really coudn't get in to this ...

well if you are a nicholas cage fan then this is the perfect special edition for you to buy!! i love nicholas cage and i have enjoyed most of the films that he has brought out. if you love action then he is the one to watch!
my personal favourite out of the three has got to be gone in 60 seconds.
if you love fast cars and lots of action then its just the perfect film in one! he has got to do a deal and steal 50 cars in a certain amount of time ...
