New Year's Concert 2005 (DVD)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Advantages: Great fireworks!
Disadvantages: Have to get a spot early!

Standing on a boat in the centre of Sydney harbour the expectation starts to build, new friends stand shoulder to shoulder, lovers hugging and holding hands and children bursting with the anticipation of it all. 10,8,9 I squeeze the hand of my new travel buddy next to me, 7,6,5, this is it my dream coming true, 4,3,2, here it comes 1 ' Happy New Year' !! The sound of fireworks fills my ears and the sky is crammed with the bright colours of fireworks exploding left, right and centre. Screams of delight and smiling faces surround me as I am filled with emotion. This time last year I was at a house party in London watching the Sydney fireworks on TV and a year on there I was standing in the middle of it all, maybe some New Years revolutions can happen. Another Year, Another PPV

Advantages: Some feuds were clever
Disadvantages: The other feuds weren't

for the most part the lesser 'superstars'. Since then an ECW brand has been began, although that was not around in Jan 06. As New Years Revolution is RAW exclusive it means for the most part only RAW wrestlers will wrestle on it, opposed to say WrestleMania - a multi-brand PPV with wrestlers from BOTH shows on it. Glad we got that out of the way. One of the few good things about New Years Revolution is that it is a RAW only PPV, so you can have slightly more hope for it. In 2006 it was only the second PPV of this name, with the first coming in the same time period back in 2005. The thing both these PPV's have in common is that they were both headlined by the Elimination Chamber match.
