The film is about the world and the fact that it is a hoax, a made up world created by powerful machines and artificial intelligence that control the world, with the most fantastic stunts, Keanu Reeves (Neo) and his team morpheus and trinity have to fight to free all mankind, i love to watch this film again and again and it astonishes me every time. The special effects are amazing and the fight scenes are even better. Advantages: having the full trilogy in one boxset
Disadvantages: not an awful lot of special features

...neo in his exploits through most of the movie. the first movie ends with neo truely believing that he is in fact 'the one' which brings us onto reloaded. reloaded introduces more characters both good and bad in the matrix as well as in the real world namely niobe played by jada pinkett-smith. this film features more action and fight scenes and with the explaining of what the matrix is, done mostly in the first film it leaves room for showing off the vastness of the matrix and very memorable action scenes. this second installment ends with a 'to be concluded' style ending which brings us onto the final film in the trilogy. revolutions kicks off where reloaded ended and quite notably features alot more scenes set in the real world rather than the matrix. at this point neo must try and stop smith who has gone corupt in the matrix... ...? What are the limits of our universe? and many many more. There are commentaries for each movie with philosophers that talk about the complex problems in the matrix. These two men deffinately know their stuff and help to solve some of the most mind-blowing problems! The extras There is no way to see all of the special features this box set comes with. With 3 different comentaries for each movie, 35 hours of bonus behind the scenes features and a whole collection of animated movies called the animatrix, it is truely mind boggling. I still have yet to see all of the special fetures in this box set. Conclusion If you like fantasy, romance, science fiction, and box sets, you have to have this item. Nothing expands your DVD library like this Matrix Box Set! BUY IT TODAY!!! You'll be glad you did!... Read review
