The containers (modern day Trojan Horses) were filled with 65 commandos from the Navy's premier counter-terrorism unit, SEAL Team 6. Handlers whisked the human payload into a nearby hangar to avoid notice by Russian allies on the base. Once the SEALs had been unpacked in secrecy, they headed to CIA-run safe houses in the surrounding countryside. Their mission: to apprehend five PIFWCs, an acronym for persons indicted for war crimes in northern Bosnia.

Director Lewis Teague teamed up with former Navy SEAL and writer of the screenplay Chuck Pfarrer to produce a high octane action film of good quality.
The Plot
Whilst on a retrieval mission involving hostages, a group of Navy SEALs suspect a group of terrorists have come into possession of Stinger missiles. They are despatched to find the missiles and destroy them before they can be used to destroy anyone or anything. The SEALs must use all their training to achieve this goal and essentially thwart the terrorists' plans.
The Cast and Performances
Charlie Sheen takes joint top billing as Lieutenant Dale Hawkins here, sharing the top spot with Michael Biehn as Lieutenant James Curran. Curran is the SEAL leader, but the majority of the focus does shift towards Sheen, and the pair of actors doe very well especially when they are both in the scene. Joanne Whalley plays Claire Varrens, and investigative reporter who helps the SEAL team find the Stingers. Actors such as Rick Rossovich, Bill Paxton and Dennis Haysbert lend their talents to the roles of SEAL team members. The remainder of the cast perform well.
My Opinion
I like this film very much. There are areas where you feel a slight unrealistic nature to the film lends itself, particularly with some of the reactions of the SEALs to hostage situations. No doubt some of this is due to artistic impression and has been amended slightly from what you would assume is an accurate portrayal of SEALs.
I found myself liking the film more and more as it progressed, and was particularly taken byh the action scenes all being interlinked with the subplots as well as the main plot. Actors Michael Biehn, Rick Rossovich and Bill Paxton all worked together for Terminator, and were reunited here.
The film is highly enjoyable, and while it is not the best film ever made, it is excellent as long as you keep an open mind and just enjoy it for what you get. If you try to analyse this film, you will find yourself annoyed at it. I enjoyed this by virtually switching on and focusing on the screen, but each to their own!

Advantages: really interesting, cool to see Blink grow, lots of videos and pictures Disadvantages: not amazing direction, would have been cool to interview other bands,
and underwear round his ankles, this DVD is one to put on when you fancy a daft laugh with a great soundtrack.
The second one has been clearly given better funding and more time and effort, and shows Blink as they have matured. We see interesting interviews about the original 'Stay Together for the Kids' video, and also information on what the lyrics for the song were based on. Amongst 'making ofs' and being introduced to friends of the band, we also get to see the Blink we know and love; from Tom's rigorous NavySeal training and alien obsession to Mark masquerading as a security guard, this DVD is a fantastic insight to an intriguing band.
Basically, if you're a fan of Blink 182 you should own this. You get to follow the guys on tour, learn loads of stuff about how the songs were written, how the videos were made and how they have matured, grown ...

Advantages: A Great action flick, with guns, explosions and fast paced Disadvantages: Not enough Ed Harris
a fast-paced, action packed movie, and is a must for those that like this action and adventure. It has an all-star cast and the special effects, cinematography, acting and music are all top drawer. The director (Michael Bay) and producers (Don Simpson and Jeffery Bruckheimer) have done a superb job on this film, and if you liked any of their previous movies they worked on, then this film is a must for you! (Enemy of the State, Bad Boys, Armageddon, Crimson Tide)
I loved this film, as its has great action scenes ( eg.shower room ) and some great one liners from all the cast members. There is nothing better than watching this movie with a cold beer and a pizza for a typical "lads" film !
