I was inspired, like many others to buy this DVD after seeing Natalie's amazing transformation in the press. After she "lost 2 ½ stone and dropped 4 dress sizes".
The workout was created by her trainer Dee Thresher who also helped Charlie Brooks (Ex Eastenders) lose weight and create a workout DVD a few years ago.
The DVD consists of:
Introduction Here we see Natalie at the start of her weight loss journey, she talks us through what she has done to lose the weight and how she has been doing the workout 5 times a week. She also has her final weigh in with the trainer at this point.
Warm I found this warm up great fun. The banter between Natalie and Dee is amusing and with great moves included like the "shoulder shimmy" you don't really notice that you're warming up.
Sweat As Natalie herself says "this section is called sweat for a reason"! It's a pretty intense 15 minutes of "power moves to burn fat" there's lots of jumping about which really get's your heart rate up. There are lots of leg exercises included such as leg curls and lunges.
Punch Another 15 minute section here. Again, lots of jumping about (I think this section is just as sweaty as the previous one, but I guess they needed a different name!) Boxing moves are introduced with part of the section dedicated to a punching routine and part to kicking which are then both put together at the end. It's very good for releasing tension. I reckon my neighbours have probably been wondering by this point what the hell is going on next door, must sound like a heard of elephants!
Crunch Toning moves for arms, stomach and waist followed by stretches to cool down.
Entire workout lasts about 50 mins
Extras: Natalie's Eating Plan At this point I was expecting Natalie to talk about her eating plan, however you just get lists of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks up on the screen. Good if you want to follow some exact meals, not so good if you're looking for some kind of strategy.
Overall I really enjoy this DVD. As with any exercise DVD you'll get bored with it if you're doing the same thing and listening to the same jokes every day, but it's great to use a few times a week in combination with other things. I personally have had the DVD since January (is now June), have been doing the workout at least once a week and haven't yet got bored. I also always feel that I've done a really good workout afterwards which isn't always the case with celeb exercise plans.
Available at Amazon for £8.98 new and from £5.50 used and new.

Advantages: Choose which sections you do, notice effects after a few workouts, good for unfits. Disadvantages: some moves are hard first time to get. hearing the jokes more than once :P
