OK, so I'm nearly 23 but I've wanted to see this film since I saw it advertised when it was at the cinema. Not being able ton convince anyone that they too want to watch it I decided to watch it once lonely Saturday night.
I had visioned a bit of a twist on Mary Poppins but this wasn't to be.
I do not want to give away the plot.
The film is aimed at children however I did enjoy it! It did have it's twists and turns and so the plot wasn't entirely as expected.
I can't remember what the rating of the film is but I wouldn't recommend letting young children watch it alone, anything about 8 or 10 will probably be fine on their own.
This film had some great acting from Colin Firth but inparticular from Simon, the young boy. I'm sure I've seen him in something before but can't quite place what.
Children will find the film funny and perhaps scary in parts but it's a non stop film with no scenes there just to fill.
Sorry but much more information is required to achieve higher ratings. If you add anything to this review in terms of additional detail and opinion, please do not hesitate to drop a quick message in my guestbook and I will come back and re-rate :)

I'd give a plot outline, just what it is about but not giving away any twists or endings-it helps people know if they fancy it instead of I don't want to give away the plot when they then don't have a clue if it is their type of thing!
