DVD Description
Features the Julia Roberts films MYSTIC PIZZA, SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY, and DYING YOUNG. In MYSTIC PIZZA, the picturesque seaside resort of Mystic, Connecticut, is home to three young waitresses who decide that their futures are as exciting as yesterday's pizza. During one special summer, the three women and the men in their lives discover that life has a secret ingredient. In SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY, a newly married woman wakes up to the fact that her husband is a wife-beater. In DYING YOUNG, a vivacious young woman begins work as a carer for a wealthy young man. Together they learn about life.
Advantages: A great start Disadvantages: Terrible TV movie style values
...the risk to enter into another one? Worse still the choice of new partner seems to me unbelievable; Ben is not an overly convincing character; and an incredibly unlikely choice of alternative.
The very early 1990’s were the heyday of Julia Roberts; MysticPizza, Pretty Woman, DyingYoung, Flatliners and Sleeping With The Enemy all bounced onto the cinema screens at about the same time making Roberts and overnight star. By the time Sleeping With The Enemy was being filmed Roberts was already deemed a top star because of the acting calibre she mixed with Richard Gere, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon etc. so the choice of Patrick Bergin as a husband seems to me to be a little odd, while I’m sure he is a perfectly good actor he seldom hits anyone’s Richter scale, in fact very few could name a movie he has been in even though his face is familiar...

...The oc is a mystical, compelling, funny and srious tv drama, and I recon the best drama on TV today.
The cast are young and radiant, giving the dram the unique touch!
the setting is spectacular, the west coast of America, the orange county.
The drama follows a group of high school teenagers, who encounter real life and factual problems.
The series contains a great soundtrack, containing the music of some of the most up and coming bands in the last few years.
The series also covers a wide range of social and political stories such as religion and belief.
The sound quality in the fil, ie. the dialogue is clear and understandable.
Extras contained in the boxset include the making of the series and commentry over episodes.
There is a bit for everyone in this series, making it one of the most popular of the past year.
well done to schwartz...

Advantages: Superby acting - very funny Disadvantages: none
...MysticPizza focusses on three young women - Daisy (Julia Roberts), her sister Kat (Annabeth Gish) and their friend JOJO (Lili Taylor). This film tells the story of what happens to these three young women during the summer after they finnish High School.
The three women spend their summer working in the Pizza Parlour in Mystic, Connecticut, where they fill each other in on their ambitions and plans for the future. Sensible Kat is on her way to Yale University but ends up having an affair with the father of the child that she regularly babysits for. JoJo is due to marry her high school sweetheart but she isn't too sure that that's what she wants (she leaves him at the alter). Daisy meets Charles (Adam Storke) who the girls believe will change Daisy's life forever but he is not all that he seems to be.....
This is a real heart...
