When I first saw this TV show I thought it was the best American sit-com in years. It is about a man called "Earl J Hickey" who hers about Karma (if you do good things good things will happen to you) he has done nothing but bad things in his life and nothing but bad things happen to him. So he makes a list of everything bad he did and makes up for them one by one. It was so funny my sides were sore.
I would recommend this DVD to someone looking for a good laugh. As well as the 24 episodes you also get a bonus episode exclusive to the DVD. It was a lost pilot and is called "Bad Karma" in this episode he makes a list of everyone who has ever screwed him over and decides that it's payback time. This bonus episode is very funny. It also comes with deleted scenes like most DVD's. These are nothing special but a good extra all the same. You also get a whole stack of hilarious bloopers but that's just more of the normal things that you would expect to get. Another good extra is "Making Things Right: Behind the Scenes of My Name Is Earl". The last feature I am going to tell you about is the audio commentary that is some selected episodes. It is usually the creator Greg Garcia or the director Marc Buckland.
The DVD runs for a total of 501 minutes and is only in the English language. It works with a 5.1 surround sound system. The commentary however, will only work on a 2.0 system.
They have subtitles in Danish, Fiddish, Greek, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish and English.
It has a rating of 12 in the UK and in Ireland. So, therefore it is only suitable for people over 12. It is in colour.
So, in short this DVD is really enjoyable and a really good laugh.

Quitea promising review. The difficulty is that you are reviewing the whole of series 1 which, for me at least, requires a commentary and review of every episode in series 1. One other observation it is much readable if you write in paragraphs marked with line spacings. Rich
