Advantages: Very funny 'they don't make em like that anymore' movie Disadvantages: None
...for a few days, enlisting Ronnie to take any phone messages that may come in during his absence. While hanging out in Sam's office, the beautiful and mysterious Baroness Montay arrives and, mistaking Ronnie for a real detective, begs for his help in finding her kidnapped uncle.
Ronnie eagerly agrees to take the case, and proceeds to ineptly bumble his way through everything he does while trying to come across as Macho Man. There are loads of really funny laugh-out-loud bits, especially in the way Ronnie deals with a host of nasty villains who are way out of his league. Among the dodgy characters involved in the kidnapping are two of my all-time fave classic actors, Peter Lorre as deliciously evil knife-throwing baddie Kismet (who gets cheerfully nicknamed 'Cuddles' by Ronnie, which only makes Kismet MAD), and Lon Chaney Jr reprising his IQ...

Advantages: Excellent Concept - Big explostions + tongue in cheek? Disadvantages: it’s eerie accuracy of life in the future

Again as with most of my film collection the price makes up for the extras on the DVD. The Bachelor also has a theatrical trailor and a section covering the cast and crew but that's all. Amazon has used DVDs for £2.99 but I got mine...
