My Dinner with Andre is a passionate, volatile and humorous encounter between two friends ... more
who have not seen each other for a long time, and decide to catch up on each others? lives over dinner. Andr Gregory (The Last Temptation of Christ, The Bonfire of the Vanities) is an intense, highly experimental theatre director and playwright in search of life?s meanings and spiritual revelations. His friend, Wally Shawn (Wallace Shawn, Ally Mc Beal, Toy Story), is an actor and playwright living in New York who is more preoccupied with the search for his next meal. As Andr recounts his global journeys involving esoteric theatrical experiments and mystical adventures, Wally listens with more skepticism, as his attitudes shift through wonder, puzzlement, admiration, and anger. What finally emerges is a sensitive portrait of a friendship that survives and transcends beliefs of love, death, art, and man?s continuing quest for self-fulfillment. Directed by Louis Malle (Au Revoir les Enfants, Milou en Mai).

Advantages: Well written, nice pictures included, interesting read Disadvantages: Not challenging reading but it isnt expected really!
I went to a book signing in Basingstoke this weekend to meet Peter Andre, and obviously I had to buy a copy of his new book for him to sign. Now if I had known in advance, I would have ordered it online to save a few pennies, but I had to buy in the shop at full price so I thought, well I have had to spend £7.99 on this, I may as well read it! So when I put my son to bed, I sat down on the sofa and started to read.
If I am honest, I got totally engrossed in this autobiography. The book starts off with a lot of acknowledgements to his wife and his family, but obviously this bit in the book is optional. It then moves onto the first part which is Peter Andre's childhood in England and in Australia. I was surprised at some of the revelations in the book, such as that he was racistly bullied when he moved to Australia, and he clearly ...
thought in my head. I never felt so alive, so hopeful-and and I never felt such energy.? Well that is quite candid when Andre Agassi reflects on 1997 when his ranking plummeted to 124 and this is what happened.
Remarkably though in 1998 Agassi boomed right on to the 6th position and in 1999 wrote his name besides Fred Perry, Don Budge, Rod Lever and Roy Emerson to be only the 5th man to win all four grand slam titles.
He was the most widely marketed player of all time which was a direct result of his unmatched charisma that pulled the crow to the tennis court, in fact where ever he went. The elite cognoscenti admired his tremendous skill, talent and timing as he steamrolled his way to the top hitting the early ball to choke the fierce top spin of the opponent dominating the game today. Fluorescent cloths, wigged hair-do, denim shorts and ear ...
This is a list of my 10 worst dinner guests and why. Oh and by the way, I know that technically there are more than ten, but tough!!!!
So in no particular order???
1. David and Victoria Beckham.
Am I the only one who doesn?t get it when it comes to these two? She?s a really bad singer who loves herself a bit too much, and will bitch about anyone in spitting distance, and he is an overrated footballer, who for some unknown reason women find attractive. WHY? He?s minging (for want of a better word), and he dresses like a girl, and don?t get me started on his hair.
2. Jodie Marsh
Every time you open the paper there she is falling out of some club or bitching about Jordan. Well it?s not like I?m Jordan?s biggest fan, but if it was a choice between the two Jordan would win every time. Jodie Marsh is just a horrible little nobody ...
