Review: Narratives and places are secondary to the dreamy, bitter-sweet tone Wong is so keen to evoke, and with which, like a scent one might spray on too liberally, he saturates every scene (Daily Telegraph, 26/03/2008)
Advantages: Moving, funny, great performances, setting and soundtrack. Disadvantages: Some of the narrator's dialogue is a little OTT
...WARNING : SPOILER AHEAD
SYNOPSIS : 4 12 year old boys, living in the small Oregon town of Castle Rock are going on a mission. Ray Brower, a boy their age, also from Castle Rock is rumoured to be dead, hit by a train whilst out looking for blueberries - the boys want to find his body and claim the victory of doing so so they set off for a night and two days on the search. The boys are sensitive Gordy who recently lost his brother in a car crash - tough guy Chris who underneath is deeply misunderstood and judged by his thuggish brothers. ...and the gang to retrieve Boot's toy. The highlight of this episode is the wonderful "squeaky" song and the beginning and end.
Berry Hunt - "Going on a Berry Hunt" is the theme song for this episode and it is really catchy. Dora etc go looking for berries and of all places they find them on Blueberry Hill which happens to be the home of Swiper the Fox.
Sicky Tape - Oh dear Benny the Bull has got himself in trouble this time. He is in a hot air balloon heading towards Crocodile Lake but it springs a leak. Dora and Boots have to reach him with sticky tape to fix the balloon before he falls in the lake.
I would highly recommend this DVD as it is fun, educational, very addictive and will keep your little ones entertained for hours on end....

“The Opening Day of Close-Up” (1996) by Nanni Moretti
An amusing little short about the owner of an independent cinema whose new film, an Iranian political drama, is opening while the rest of Italy are all going to see ‘The Lion King’
“Gisèlle Kérozène” (1999) by Jan Kounen (Doberman, Blueberry) uses stop motion camera work to tell the story of modern day witches chasing each other on their broomsticks. Flying at full speed through concrete pathways. Very funny.
“Härlig Är Jorden (World of Glory)” (1991) by Roy Andersson (Songs From the Second Floor). This is very odd and the first one that didn’t really impress me, strange little film.
“L’Homme Sans Tete” (2003) by Juan Solanas (Unknown) gives us a short day in the life of a man without a head as he plans a night out.
“Koncert Zyczen” (1968) by Krzysztof...
