X-men super heroes!
Review of X-Men 1.5/X-Men 2 DVD by splatman2000

Advantages: Great films great action sequences
Disadvantages: a few of the cartoons charectors were missing

...The X-men are a group of the most legondary and famous super heroes ever. X-men 1.5 has some extra footage and some bounus material that was never origonally in the version released at the cinema. This is great as it gives a slight bit of extra knowledge to the stories and shows you more about what is happening. X-men 1.5. The world is being divided into two very different groups those that are 'normal' and those that are evolving mutants. These mutants all have individual and extrordinary abbilities, however there are two groups of people the X-men those that wish to use their powers for the greater good of humanity to help the planet. Lead by Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) the x-men are the same as the comics Storm, cyclops, Jean Grey and of course wolverine. They are against Magnetos group those that would kill humans to defend... Read review

The second and final season of Dark Angel
Review of Dark Angel - Season 2 (Box Set) (Wide Screen) by ciaofluffymuppet

Advantages: Another 21 episodes in Max's mutant world
Disadvantages: Lots of people don't like the 'monsters'

...The Plot In Season 1 of Dark Angel we met Max, a genetically engineered soldier who was born and raised in the government's secret Manticore facility. Max escaped from Manticore with several of her siblings when she was a child, and has been living a low profile existence ever since. She teams up with undercover journalist Eyes Only to uncover corruption in a post-apocalyptic America, whilst trying to reconnect with her brothers and sisters and avoid being recaptured by the Manticore program boss Lydecker. Season 2 has a different feel, as we meet many more of Manticore's genetic experiments - most of whom are considerably less human than Max and her X5 siblings. They've all been bred for specific environments and tasks, and are far less able to cope with the real world than Max - and so she feels responsible for them. Max spends... Read review

Better than the first?
Review of X-Men 2 DVD by Leigh36295

Advantages: Good Performances from cast. Good Script.
Disadvantages: Drags quite a bit.

...X-men 2 (X2) Director: Bryan Singer Release Date: 2003 Runtime: 133 mins Approx Plot After the events at the end of the first movie, Magneto is still locked inside his plastic prison, and is deemed secure. However after a a attack on the United States President by an assassin mutant, once again leaves the humans mistrusting the Mutants. General William Stryker, goes to extreme lengths to eradicate all mutants, by breaking into the Proffessor Xaviers school for mutants, and starts kidnapping the students, who are under Wolverines watch while the rest of the X-men are away searching for the assassin who attacked the President. After Magneto escapes from his prison, he temporarily teams up with the X-men to stop Stryker from wiping out the entire mutant population. My Opinion. I saw this when it was first released...
