...powers-Rogue (played by Anna Paquin who has starred in Finding Forrester, She’s all that, Fly away home) on her travels she bumps into another mutant Wolverine. Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman (Erskineville Kings, Paperback Hero) has 3 metal claws imbedded into each hand. He also has the power to heal cuts and wounds, which comes in very useful. Xavier takes in rogue and wolverine but Magneto (played by Sir Ian Mckellen Gods and Monsters, Richard III, jack and Sarah, Last action Hero) has other plans. He has his own team of mutants: Mystique-played by Rebecca Romijn-Stamos (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me) Toad-played by the fantastic Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode 1 the phantom menace-he played Darth Maul) The film is just jam packed with special effects. X Men 3: On Last Legs
Review of X-Men - The Last Stand (Special Edition) by bilbob20

Advantages: Entertaining enough
Disadvantages: A bit disappointing

...The third installment of Bryan Singer's X-Men trilogy has him abandon ship, allowing Brett Ratner to take over directing duties, as the mutants have to rise up to protect themselves against humans and a genetic cure against mutation. But this time human ignorance isn't the only thing that the team have to face up to. They also find themselves once again pitted against their own kind as a powerful brotherhood oversaw by Magneto (played wonderfully once again by Ian McKellan) fights against the movement to allow mutants to become human, and an internal force in the guise of Jean Grey (Famke Jannsen) who has been possessed by a darker force that can suck the life out of her fellow mutants. As the trilogy draws to a close, the mutants find themselves in a life or death war against all sides, choosing to fight it, rather than give up... Read review

Review of X-Men 1.5/X-Men 2 DVD by splatman2000

Advantages: Great films great action sequences
Disadvantages: a few of the cartoons charectors were missing

...The X-men are a group of the most legondary and famous super heroes ever. X-men 1.5 has some extra footage and some bounus material that was never origonally in the version released at the cinema. This is great as it gives a slight bit of extra knowledge to the stories and shows you more about what is happening. X-men 1.5. The world is being divided into two very different groups those that are 'normal' and those that are evolving mutants. These mutants all have individual and extrordinary abbilities, however there are two groups of people the X-men those that wish to use their powers for the greater good of humanity to help the planet. Lead by Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) the x-men are the same as the comics Storm, cyclops, Jean Grey and of course wolverine. They are against Magnetos group those that would kill humans to defend... Read review
