Mutant X - 1.1 And 1.2 (DVD)

...Mutant is released under the "Hollywood" Dvd collection. These DVD's were most popular when DVDs were first starting to take over videos but were still priced considerably higher. These cheaper DVDs were around half the price but it does show in the movies. With action movies, such a low budget release would be forgotten but low budget horror movies have a much better quality and are far more entertaining. Mutant was released in a 3 DVD Hollywood boxset along with "Beyond the door 2" and "The grim reaper". Although it could be argued that "The grim reaper" was a scarier film, "Mutant" is far more entertaining. The story is simple enough, 2 brothers are travelling on holiday when they crash at a small redneck town. They expect to stay just the night but they start to uncover something sinister that is causing people to become ill... Read review

...The Mutant Chronicles. It came from space……… It came to change man into mutants….. A war followed and was just about won. The machine was buried in the earth so it could do no more harm and there it waits……to be discovered. The year is 2707 and four corporations rule the whole world and battle each other endlessly. The movie begins with trench warfare and even though set in the future it clearly depicts that war never changes no matter what the time period. The fighting is Gruesome, pointless and with lots of carnage and death. Poison gas bombs, huge artillery and hand to hand combat. The fighting is fierce and then the 'Machine 'is found. A portal opens and the mutants begin to escape, suddenly the soldiers and not fighting each other they're fighting for their lives. The mutants have only one objective to butcher anything... ...The complete Auf Wiedersehen Pet series 1 and 2 DVD boxset is full of entertaining episodes from both series 1 and 2 of the hit comedy series. The boxset includes 4 DVD's, which includes the complete series 1 and another 4 DVD's which includes the complete series 2. SERIES 1 Series 1 boasts an impressive 13 episodes, which follows the day to day antics of 7 workers in Dusseldorf, Germany. In series one, we meet, the "Magnificent Seven", composed of Barry (Timothy Spall),Dennis ( Tim Healy), Neville ( Kevin Whately) , Oz( Jimmy Nail),Wayne( Gary Holton), Bomber ( Pat Roach ) and Moxey (Christopher Fairbank) . Series 1, Episode 1 If I were a Carpenter - Oz,Dennis and Neville make their way to Dusseldorf, only problem is , they are all brickies, yet they are only looking for 2 brikies.
