Advantages: Absolutely brilliant at messing with your emotions, it has everything. Disadvantages: Not a single one.
I should find this review easy as my wife is constantly calling me Victor when I'm on the phone complaining again. One thing I can't complain about is this greatboxset.
Comprising of the full series 1-6 and the Christmas specials plus a couple of special features titled, "Britain's Best Sitcom" and "The story of One Foot in the Grave", there's certainly plenty of viewing.
12 discs in the set with 6 episodes per disc running for 30 min approx. The Christmas specials are roughly 60 to 90 min in length and are on their own disc.
Written by the morbidly minded David Renwick and starring Richard Wilson & Annette Crosbie respectively as The embittered and grumpy Victor Meldrew and his long-suffering and surprisingly patient wife Margaret.
The series follows Victor & Margaret through Victor's recent early retirement as a security ...
Advantages: 3 action dvds in one box Disadvantages: Not everyone's cup of tea
Review of 3 Action classics ?We Were Soldiers, Mad Max and Lethal Weapon? DVD, starring Mel Gibson..
This is a boxedDVDset, which I must admit had been sitting unwatched and ignored in the cupboard for some time. I believe the set was a Christmas Gift to my other half a few years ago, which we never got around to watching, probably because we already owned a couple of the movies as single dvds!
The set consist of three popular Mel Gibson movies, on three individual discs. They comprise of 'We Were Soldiers', 'Mad Max' and 'Lethal Weapon'. The box is really rather uninteresting, just three pictures of Gibson in each of the movies on the front and a small amount of information about each film on the reverse, along with information about directors and classification.
I will attempt to give a brief synopsis of the films ...
Advantages: Complete seasons and all contained together Disadvantages: None
blunt and honest opinions! She is a very provocative person and loves nothing more than being in charge in and out of the bedroom. Samantha doesn't do relationships and even the thought of being in a relationship is her worst nightmare!
The set:
Each season follows on nicely from the last - there is no huge gap for us to be filled in on and so it makes it easy to just keeping watching and carry on from where you left off at the end of each season. The contents include each season with all episodes and each has the extra features which include commentary form the actors.
Price:
Price varies from place to place and will also depend on whether you want to purchase individual seasons or just buy the complete setin one. The single seasons start at around the £10 mark but, this complete season 1-6 boxset starts from around just £50 so it ...

DVD Description
A trio of landmark musicals from the golden age of Hollywood. Follow wide-eyed Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her ragtag friends Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion as they head down the Yellow Brick Road in search of Emerald City and the all-powerful Wizard of Oz. Shot partly in black and white, partly in Technicolor, THE WIZARD OF OZ is a perfect juxtaposition of reality and fantasy. In the musical comedy SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, the advent of sound in motion pictures causes a problem for a tonally-challenged actress whose voice is better suited to silent movies! Complications ensue when the studio secretly hires a voice-over artist who not only steals her lines, but the affections of her on-screen partner Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) too. Rounding off the set is the romantic comedy HIGH SOCIETY, starring Grace Kelly as beautiful, aloof Newport heiress Tracy Lord, who is torn between three potential suitors, all eager to win her affections. The film--adapted from THE PHILADELPHIA STORY--features music by Cole Porter and co-stars Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.
