Howe, Anderson, Wakeman, Squire and White
Advantages: It's Yes with Rick Wakemen
Disadvantages: sound quality dvd only 60 mins
Great, a DVD of Yes with the classic line-up, with the exception of drummer Bill Bruford, who I think was with King Crimson at the time.
The main problem with this DVD is it's only 60 mins long and the sound quality is a bit like a copy from a VHS. Still, apart from all that we do get to see and hear yes performing in Philadelphea, USA in 1979.
It opens with Siberian Khatru, which is ok, and it then follows with a couple of Anderson choices, which ...
...into its' own with Starship Trooper, which has what can only be described as a contest between Steve Howe on guitar and Rick Wakeman on a portable keyboard instrument. This a definite plus point of this DVD.
I've Seen All Good People and Roundabout follow and are perfomed equally well.
What a shame the DVD is so short. (A bit like this review, I suppose). ...

LIVE AID - DAY THAT ROCKED THE WORLD
Advantages: Great memories of a great day

Advantages: A great rock documentary. A precious insight of the greatest music era of rock
Disadvantages: None
The Last Waltz is perhaps the last filmed document of the great rock era of the sixties. Thanks to the wise folks who reversed it on DVD now you too can participate to the ball, almost 30 years after!

Little Shop Of Horrors was directed by Frank Oz, and features the arrival of a strange and interesting new plant in the failing Skid Row flower shop owned and run by Mushnik. His two employees are the geeky and friendless Seymour and the blonde bimbo Audrey. Other characters emerge as the film progresses, but the main protagonist to these two is the plant, named Audrey II by Seymour.
The plant's arrival, just when it seemed ...
...the shop. Initially a tiny little thing, Seymour nurtures it until one day he finds that in order for the plant to grow, there is one thing it needs to be feed more than anything else: blood!
What makes this film work is the timing of the music. It is a musical comedy, and as such the musicality must be an attractive prospect. The plot itself is brilliant, and does a lot of the storytelling, but the music fills in the time gaps with ease. The upbeat ...

moulin rouge
Advantages: wonderfull sets, great director
Disadvantages: for younger viewers it is a bit long
...behind it was a masterstroke, for instance the can can song when they first go to the moulin rouge ,with smells like teen spirit children of the revoulotion and many others in it made for a great movie, the dancing was wonderufll done, with it moving brillantly with the music ...
