No Business Like Show Business Advantages: Brilliant songs Disadvantages: NONE ...the start. For me therefore Annie Get Your Gun is the perfect musical as it certainly ticks all of these boxes as well as many, many more. Annie get your gun was released in 1950 and stars Betty Hutton and Howard Keel in a sharp shooting adventure based on the fantastic Broadway performance. Annie Get Your Gun is in short a boy-meets-girl story but the musical score and acting performances as well as the extremely well written script make it so ... ...Buffalo Bills Show and when Annie meets him she is instantaneously gob-smacked. Despite her initial attempts however Butler is under no impression that how Annie behaves is "How the girl that I marry" should. Annie however is not going to give up quite so easily and is certain that anything he can do she can do better and goes hell-for-leather to prove it too him. Viva Elvis Advantages: Fun, great music, easy to watch,great stars, good singing and dancing Disadvantages: Ridiculous plot ...to sit down and watch Viva Las Vegas last week. I was never much of an Elvis fan when I was younger. As a teenager of the 1960's I was just a little out of his fan base's age group . For me he was too clean cut. Well it shows you how wrong you can be. However with age I find I can appreciate just how good his voice was and just how beautiful in appearance he was, at some stages of his life. I have seen Viva Las Vegas many years ago but nothing ... ...seem quite so dated. In Viva Las Vegas that was not the case and everything was dated. I suppose at the time it was filmed it was already a little out of fashion, apart from with die hard Elvis fans but it is one of his better movies. Here is what I liked: Some of the tracks are Elvis Classics. Annie and her gun Advantages: Great plot Disadvantages: a long plot in a short space of time ...on society. The story of Annie Oakley, who is amazing at shooting, battles against a top shooter who runs a show and is better than him. It shows the love Annie has for Frank Butler, but the fact that he will not look at her because she is a girl who shoots instead of a girl who acts like an ornament. He also see's her as inferior as she is a woman, and women don't shoot in his opinion. This story follows Annie and Frank falling in love, but being ... ...that they fall in love. Annie and her brother and sisters are also looked down upon by society as they are not educated and cannot read and write like other people, but this does not knock their confidence in that they are as good as everyone else. We see the joining and separation of two shows battling with Frank and Annie, to see who is the best. All over a great plot with a happy ending. The best Advantages: the toe-tapping beats Disadvantages: The 'cheesyness', but everyone loves to hate it! High School Musical is the first out of the High School Musical trilogy. The film follows the adventures of Troy and Gabriella as they embark on a journey along with dance-lover Ryan Evans, self-lover Sharpay Evans, book-lover Taylor McKessie, basketball-lover Chad Danforth, and the rest of the East High Wildcats! The all singing and dancing cast will smitten even the oldest of the viewers, and will get them tapping their toes along to songs such ... ...rhythm to dance to. High School Musical is a massive hit, so you can now buy it as basically anything- shower gel, jewelery, calenders, CD's, lampshades!
