Top Hat, Tails and Glamour Advantages: Art Deco and wonderful dances Disadvantages: Possibly a little dated now ...on 29th August 1935. The best Advantages: the toe-tapping beats Disadvantages: The 'cheesyness', but everyone loves to hate it! High School Musical is the first out of the High School Musical trilogy. The film follows the adventures of Troy and Gabriella as they embark on a journey along with dance-lover Ryan Evans, self-lover Sharpay Evans, book-lover Taylor McKessie, basketball-lover Chad Danforth, and the rest of the East High Wildcats! The all singing and dancing cast will smitten even the oldest of the viewers, and will get them tapping their toes along to songs such ... ...rhythm to dance to. High School Musical is a massive hit, so you can now buy it as basically anything- shower gel, jewelery, calenders, CD's, lampshades! Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh Yes! Advantages: It's still good despite being 70 years old, entertaining for children and adults alike Disadvantages: None ...I instead decided to watch the Wizard of Oz, which I was delighted to see was playing on Channel Five. I hadn't seen it since I was a child, but remembered it being an excellent film so was fairly enthusiastic about seeing it again. Since 2009 marks the 70th anniversary of this famous film I thought it would also be interesting to see how well the film had stood the test of time as well as if I still enjoyed it as an adult. The teenage Dorothy lives with her aunt and uncle in a small town in Kansas, with her little dog Toto as her best friend and main company.
