Like you've never seen him before

Advantages: Inside look at would have been the greatest concert ever
Disadvantages: Would have been amazing to see it all pulled together in one final rehersal.

...a life long fan of Michael Jackson, there was never any question as to whether I would see this film or not, more a case of when I would see it. Me, my cousin and my little sister decided to go see this on Sunday, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this film (even if my 14 year old sister asked me what it was about when we sat down - I had to alugh, bless her!), which was only ever meant for Michael Jackson's archives for personal viewing. There is a small snippet of footage showing the dancers rehearsing a "toaster" mechanism whereby they would literally jump out of the floor. ...more the right age in high school musical and you can really connect with the characters. The songs I think are really catchy, we have been singing them for weeks even my 2 year old sings and dances to this film, so it really is for all ages. Apparently there is going to be another 2 high school musicals coming out and we cant wait to see how the story carried on. ...

Newsies - Musical Genius

Advantages: Great Cast, great songs, great story, true story.
Disadvantages: Not given the acclaim it deserves.

The newsies sell papers on the streets of new york until they strike because the newspaper owner played by Robert Duvall increases the cost of the paper to the distributors (th Newsies). In America the film did not recieve acclaim in the theatre so Disney moved it straight to DVD. The film now has now gained a considerable cult fanbase.
