Grease Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: more bonus features needed I think this film is Great! it suits everyones tastes and can be enjoyed by all young and old!.Its also a film one finds oneself being able to watch over and over again! and you may even find yourself singing to the songs and maybe doing some of the actions too!^^ lol.this film is also colourful and great for whatever the mood! Xanadu...but most don't Advantages: Camp and Cheesy Fun Disadvantages: Crappy story (film only review) On my last trip to Broadway, I was lucky enough (you may think I'm strange) to get tickets to see the stage version of 'Xanadu', lovingly ripped off from the 1980's film, starring Olivia Newton John. I hadn't seen the film before, so didn't really know what to expect, except that I knew how the main 'Xanadu' tune went. Well, I absolutely loved it, it was so bad that it was fabulous! The girl playing the ONJ character was ... ...with 80s retro gusto…anyway, that's another review altogether, what was my point? Oh yes, well, having loved that, we hopped off to Virgin megastore (they're not Zavvi stateside yet, phew) and bought the DVD…and last night we watched it…but, um, it kinda sucked! Its greased lightening Advantages: great songs, and good acting Disadvantages: none ...appears in both of the grease films and she is just great, she plays such a good funny but dim character, she can't sing well, but her character is just so lovable and is played so well. I would class Frenchy as also one of the main leads, as she is in the film a lot. Her character is just so different to everyone else. She makes this character different, and she makes you really believe she is as thick as she is loll. Dinah Manoff as Marty Maraschino ... ...even named High School Musical Grease 3. The film has a PG rating so is suitable for most ages, and runs for 110 Minutes. The film really is good fun to watch and I just love sitting down and relaxing with my kids to watch these types of films. I have seen both grease films and I loved them both, and will probably watch one of them again over the weekend. Grease a Superb Film Advantages: the songs Disadvantages: nothing that i can say grease has alwyas been one of my favourite musicals. i could watch it over and over again and wont get bored of watching it , i nearly know all the songs of by heart its really good to watch. the story line is good and it has some funny characters. i love romance films and this is certainly one of the best ones because it has very good songs which makes it more joyable to watch. i love all the songs on this film! in my opinion i personally like grease ... ...they cant make nothing better that will top the first film. John javolta and olivia newton john are two very good characters who make this film special. I love my musicals and this is defiantly one of them because this was the first every musical i saw and will never forget i will defiantly say you should watch this ... Grease is the word Advantages: Excellent film, John Travolta Disadvantages: None ...it on DVD since then. Grease is an excellent film and i liked the acting of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. The songs on the film are great they get you singing along so easily and the words are easy to sing. The film is about Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John), who is on holiday, fall in love Sandy has to say goodbye as she has to go back home to Australia but doesn't realise she's staying. Sandy starts Rydell ... ...Caesar My Opinion Grease is an excellent film and is still enjoyed by people today. The cast in grease are great John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John were a great choice to play the leading parts. John Travolta was quite good looking in this film and played Danny Zuko brilliantly.
