Moulin Rouge a musical extravaganza! Advantages: The sountrack is accessible to everyone. Disadvantages: You do have to follow the story, as it goes off the main plot a bit I really enjoyed this film. Nicole Kidman dazzles as the beautiful courtesan, destined to fall in love with the poor writer, against all odds and expectations. Who knew Ewan Macgregor had such a good voice? The music will make you want to hum along to familiar songs, everyone will remember. A touching love story that i believe will appeal to all. Slightly bizarre, and a little bohemian but ultimately "Come what may" is the song that holds the story ... ...kim and pink. My teenage daughter loved it, and developed a crush on Ewan Macgregor while my hardened husband drooled over Nicole Kidman, and broke into a smile at Jim Broadbent's over the top performance. I believe this is a film that will appeal to the whole family, and will probably have you scouring shops for the unforgettable soundtrack. KYLIE - THE REAL QUEEN OF POP Advantages: fantastic songs, great sets, fantastic performer Disadvantages: that you're not really there! ...doesn't want to watch a Kylie concert. Score - 5/5 Overall: Overall, well if you wasn't fortunate to see the concert live then this really is the next best thing! The camera angles capture Kylie at just the right moments, and the songs are fantastic quality to listen to. Whether you're an avid Kylie fan back from 1988 or a 8 year old girl seeing this woman for the first time, you WILL be impressed! Best Love story ever - Moulin Rouge Advantages: Lets out your emotions, makes you see life differently, Brilliant to watch Disadvantages: there are none! I would say this is the best Love Story ever since Romeo and Juliet. I have watched this film at least 20 times and know all the lyrics to all the songs. Its just such an emotional film, and yet pure genious at the same time. Christian (Ewan Mcgregor) wants to write a novel about love, his favourite subject. But the only probablem was, he had never been in love.... Ultimate Kylie DVD Advantages: Value, Many songs Disadvantages: Quite boring ...is no actual interview with Kylie herself. Kylie does look attractive in the majority of videos. Overall though I am quite disappointed with the package. Yes it is value for money at the price I paid for it, yes, it has a large selection of songs but you will probably be yawning by the end of it. Recommended only at £10 or under brand new. ...
