All-Black Version Of Wizard Of Oz Advantages: The array of legendary stars Disadvantages: Too much schmaltz! The Wiz (1978) was a hip, modernised, all-black version of L. Frank Baum's famous fantasy, adventure story, The Wonderful Wizard Of (first published at the dawn of the century). We all know of course that the best version of this famous childrens story will forever be the delightful Judy Garland classic of 1939. Though brave and ambitious, The Wiz in it's favour is a diverse though failed experiment to bring the story into a more contemporary setting. ... ...as Dorothy with the character in this film being a rather neurotic, wet-behind-the-ears 24 year old harlem school teacher who is whisked away in a snow blizzard one night and lands in Oz. I really wanted to like this film being such a huge fan of the diva of all diva's Diana Ross and although Ross is, as always, vocally excellent throughout each film (especially on her spine-tingling delivery of the exalting number, Home) she just was never suited ... A musical masterpiece from the king of pop Advantages: Includes Thriller, Smooth Criminal and the live performance of Billie-Jean Disadvantages: None that I can think of! ...volume 2" was the first Michael Jackson video I ever bought, way back when I was 9 or 10 years old (I'm 19 now). A couple of years ago, unfortunately my video got stuck in the recorder and I had to break it to get it out. About a year ago, I decided that I loved the video so much that I should go out and buy the DVD of it. So that's what I did. I have most of Michael's videos/ DVDs- Dangerous the short films, History on Film-Volume 1 (similar to ... ...has a giant statue of Michael up, with helicopters and everything! The effects are quite something! 1) Billie Jean- This is Michael's Motown performance in front of a huge audience. If you look closely in the audience you can see Janet Jackson and some other famous people being wowed by Michael's performance. The One Advantages: the dvd michael jackson the one is a documentry on the king of pop michael jackson Disadvantages: only rveiws up 1991 dangerous album if they would have added later ones the dvd would be longer The dvd Michael jackson the one is a factual documentry about the king of pop and it contains the opinions of people in show biz about the works and achevments of the king of pop. the dvd also has the excellent motown 25 billie jean performance on the dvd which is a must buy for any pop fan. it also contains michael jacksons latest single one more chance. the only thing i dident like about it was that the dident reveiw any of michael later works ... ...albums the dvd would of contained some more ecellent clips and performances from the king of pop michael jackson. in conlusion michael jackson truely is the king of pop an unsurpassed musical genius this dvd is a must buy for any one who knows little or lots about michael jackson ... Michael's Dangerous side Advantages: Some great videos and clips of Michael. Disadvantages: Some bits are boring as it is a little too long. ...think) somewhere. He then sees Michael performing the song with aload of natives- what a sight! It's an inventive video that I thoroughly enjoy watching. 2. Superbowl Heal The World- Michael singing in front of a live audience of mainly kids holding up pieces of paper so it looks like the audience are children all holding hands together (hard to explain!). It's a bit emotional and sentimental and the song is a bit mushy, but it's ok. 3. Remember ... ...the Pharaoh's wife. Then enters Michael dressed in a black hooded robe, he then does some magic and transforms into the Michael we all know and love. He then sings "do you remember the time, when we fell in love, do you remember the time, when we first met girl" to the pharaoh's wife which upsets the pharaoh who orders his men on to Michael, but of course he doesn't manage to catch him. Michael Jackson Live In Bucharest Advantages: Great songs that everyone enjoys Disadvantages: Nothing extra on the disc and bille jean wasn't done well In 1992 Michael Jackson went on his world wide famous tour, the "The Dangerous Tour" This is one the most famous concerts preformed by Michael Jackson and was televisied all over the world in 60 different countries.Altho people say he's a litte weird and undoutably he is this still doesn't change the fact that he is a great live preformer and altho on occasions his voice is lacking a little like his voice on the song Thriller is almost as good as ... ...and his elaberate preformances like the jet pack at the end altho not actually michael Jackson still brings togther a truely great concert and is well worth buying and watching, with 16 of his famous songs available to watch you won't be bored during this 2 hours of live preformance. ...
