Golden oldies Advantages: Good selection of songs Disadvantages: none I love hindi film songs , Romantic duets more so..the Rafi-Lata, rafi-Asha, Mukesh-Lata, Talat-Lata, Hemant - asha,Hemant - lata, Mannadey - Lata, heady combinations....There are so many of them in our good old movies, and all so very melodious. Gems from the Black and White era... Advantages: One can watch these any number of times.. Ever greens from Guru dutt films... Advantages: Not a single average sounding track, each one of them is a classic.. Disadvantages: none ...has all the classics of Guru dutt, the Grand Mughal of Hindi cinema... 32 beautiful Black and White ( it sure added mystery and that special something) tracks from Guru Dutt's films is something not to be missed Guru dutt's contribution to Hindi film industry is immense, his style of film making is considered to be a bench mark by the newer generation of filmmakers right to this day...His impressive list of films include CID, Baazi,Pyasa, Sahib ... ...melodies..One could be sure that Guru Dutt's films had a combination of Good story, acting,direction and of course well shot song sequences.. Moulin rouge is a musical admirers dream Advantages: Great chemistry between main characters ,feel good film . Disadvantages: The singing throughout the film can get a bit tiresome In my opinion you must see the film if you like musicals, otherwise you might find the singing a bit off putting .At times the siniging can seem a bit over the top but in general this is what makes the film interesting.It is worth watching just to see the on screen chemistry between Ewan Mcgregor and Nicole Kidman they are a great pairing and seem to have good on screen presence allowing you to follow the romantic tale which is played out .
