Want To Get Into Rap?
Review of Kanye West - Late Orchestration (Live At Abbey Road) by
Holloah92
Advantages: Very Good Artist
Disadvantages: *None*
About 2 years ago Kanye West released College Dropout a multi platinum selling album and suddenly all the music producers in the world were wondering how this Chicago born rapper had gone undiscovered. However along with Pharrel and some other big names Kanye managed to produce a very good album.
Then again in 2005 he did it again with Late Registration. But this time he had a much bigger fan following and his album did even better than the predecessor. ... ...'Bring me down' in which kanye talk about what it's like to be a nobody in this cruel world we live in. Finally in 'All Falls Down' Kanye shares the stage with the fabulous Syleena Johnson. In that song they talk abou what it's like when you're at the top of your game and suddenly the world comes crashing down. With Syleena singing 'We raise it up but it all falls down'.
Not to ruin the Dvd I personally think that 'Jesus Walks' is the most influencial ...

"Never say Goodbye" to this video!
Review of Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet DVD by
joe-survey
Advantages: Great footage
Disadvantages: I think there might be a samll glitch
Bon Jovi
Bon Jovi is a hard rock band from New Jersey. Lead by their frontman and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, they have gone on to sell over 120 million albums worldwide. "Slippery when wet" was one of best they made, in terms of sales and how well people took it.
Slippery When Wet
This contains six videos and bonus footage. The videos are;
Wild in the streeets
Livin' on a prayer (Live)
You give Love a bad name Never say goodbye
Livin' ... ...if you are a big Bon Jovi fan. The highlight of the bonus footage though has to be the one-on-one confessions. They are great!
The videos are also great! In my opinion i wouldn't have put two versions of "Livin' on a prayer" on it because it loses it's effect if you hear it too often. However apart from that all is good. The footage is really good and i have watched this a good few times now. The highlight has to be "You give love a bad name"

Mamma Mia! How could I resist you?
Review of Mamma Mia! DVD by
jeaniecz
Advantages: funny, ful of energy and the great timeless ABBA songs
Disadvantages: bit too silly in places, no really surprising plot turns
...elsewhere, but here in Prague Mamma Mia! has become a symbol of this summer, full of fun, dancing and singing, love, sun, friends, joy and happy ends. It was my first time that sitting in the cinema I would feel all the ppl there shared sth and created such a happy and cheerful atmosphere like this time when everybody sang along to the songs.
Cast
Meryl Streep - Donna
Amanda Seyfried - Sophie
Pierce Brosnan - Sam
Colin Firth - Harry
Stellan ... ...I think her performance of Mamma Mia! was the best song in the whole movie and the little show she gave with Christine Baranski and Julie Walters as The Dynamos was sheer fun, without any depth, but fun. As Streep herself said: "I'm really doing this to embarass my 20-sth-year-old children. The dancing will mortify them and they'll have to move to Alaska or some place like that." Streep's duet of The Winner Takes It All with Pierce Brosnan felt a ...

A musical extravaganza
Review of The Phantom Of The Opera DVD by
carla33
Advantages: A brilliant version for all the family
Disadvantages: You end u singing to yourself for days
...yuorself for days.
Something all the family can enjoy as it holds a cast of so many well known names, including Gerard Butler (Tomb raider-cradle of life and 300). Minnie Driver (The riches).
It's always good to see a musical that everyone can enjoy and not just your avid theatre goers.
Music, dance and costumes a delight, as well as a few chuckles and a few tears, this is one toenjoy and keep so that you can watch it over and over again.
A great ... ...Theatre Populaire, The young Christine Daae and her envious talent.
While she is in love with the Viscomte de Changy she is also struggling to fight off the affections of the theatres notorious Phantom, Who see's Christine as his prodigae and his property.
A spectacular version of the famous Lloyd-Webber show. ...
