Advantages: very well chreographed Disadvantages: not everyones cup of tea
dv8 are a contemporary/physical theatre dance company. they first started up in 1986 and have since then produced 15 on stage and theatre performance pieces. llyod newson is the main director/ producer of all their work
this film explores the troubles in life and how we get through them.it show the live's of two men, one of which has no legs, and their struggles with society. it shows them trying to get jobs and have relationships.

Advantages: Great Ballet - great music- wonderful dancing Disadvantages: no ballet is as good on dvd as live- filming of ballets from russia is inferior
I saw this ballet live many years ago and the music and dancing by the Bolshoi is exciting and wonderful.
Irek is one of the strongest male dancers in the world- one of the greats, and this is the role where he stated he lost half a stone during the performance- so much energy demanded in the role.
