Advantages: great music videos, like 'November Rain', 'Don't Cry' and 'Paradise City'. Disadvantages: No extras. A few videos missing that I feel should have been on it.

Though it was clear Axl Rose was the only original member left, there was still much anticipation as I felt even with the new band members, it would still have that old Guns 'n' Roses feel to it, due to the fact that I know Axl Rose made a great deal of the decisions and chose the direction music wise, in the days when Guns 'n' Roses were ... ...The once forthcoming Guns 'N Roses album, Chinese Democracy has been plagued by constantly changing release dates and has become something more of an urban legend in the music world, as fans have lost all hope of it ever being released. Metallica normally need very little introduction. Most people will have at least heard of them, if not having actually listened to their music. One of the heaviest, biggest and most successful heavy metal bands of all time, Metallica have been playing for well over two decades now. They've done everything from recording classic metal albums, (e.g. 'Master Of Puppets', 'The Black Album'), to releasing their own Rockumentry movie, ('Some Kind Of Monster'). ... ...night and shows exactly why Metallica are one of the best live bands to have ever existed. The performances are outstanding. From a musical perspective the group are tight, with Lars and Jason providing a stable frame which James' rhythm playing enforces and allows Kirk to launch into his solos. I wouldn't say the performances are flawless, (Kirk fluffs a few notes during some solos, James struggles with the vocal ranges on some earlier songs, etc.) ...

Iron Maiden - Taken from their first ever album, 'Iron Maiden' made in 1980. Originally with Paul Di'Anno but like most of the other Maiden songs without Dickinson sound better with him. Also found it weird seeing Bruce in a small cage with about 3 women but all adds to the entertainment.

This DVD is good, but if you really want the full experience of the black album then i would suggest buying a year and a half in the life of.. as this is basically where this dvd got its stock footage from.

...because I am a big Guns n' Roses fan and I'd say that this is a must for any other fans out there. The DVD shows the second part of a gig they did in Japan, as part of their Use Your Illusion tour in 1992/93. (I would recommend buying this DVD alongside the Use Your Illusion I DVD so that you get the full experience of the concert).
The sound quality of the DVD is very good and Axl Rose is on top form with the vocals, if a little too brash with ... ...heartfelt, finger tapping solos; every band member really gets into the show.
They play a lot of songs from their Use Your Illusion double albums as well as playing classics from their Appetite for Destruction album, such as Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle.
I loved every minute of it and I'm sure anyone else who enjoys rock music would like it too. ...
