The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Lip Box)

Advantages: the dvd itself and the novel box design
Disadvantages: shock treatment

I love the rocky horror picture show and have done since coming across it in about 1980 I have watched it on hundreds of occasions and been to see the play, but this box set is really only for the die hard have to dress up club. The actual lip box is great and makes a excellent ornament in the living room ( I find moving it around frequently maximises effect) other than this the set includes some postcards and a couple of booklets and guides and ...
...and did nothing special at the time of release either. As long as you can get the set cheap then fine but I would not recommend paying to much unless you are a die hard fan And I paid the full RRP of £70.00 at the time. ...

Advantages: Fascinating insight into Bowie's work
Disadvantages: Probably not for newcomers to Bowie

Fantastic film anyone would have to enjoy it!!

Advantages: Everything, sheer masterpiece!
Disadvantages: Non apart from the fact it made me cry!

In my opinion this film is fantastic. It is a classic tearjerker with lots of fun and exciting elements to it. I feel this film can appeal to absolutley anyone as the story is fantastic and the actors are vibrant and gorgeous (for both the men and the women!). Friendship or Fame?

Advantages: great storyline, excellent songs and vocals
Disadvantages: none really

...matured Curtis renames them the Dreamgirls and they are an instant success. The group is in for a change though when they have to try and branch out into the pop charts and make a name for themselves in a mainly white market. Review of Dreamgirls (DVD)

Like you've never seen him before

Advantages: Inside look at would have been the greatest concert ever
Disadvantages: Would have been amazing to see it all pulled together in one final rehersal.

...a life long fan of Michael Jackson, there was never any question as to whether I would see this film or not, more a case of when I would see it. Me, my cousin and my little sister decided to go see this on Sunday, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this film (even if my 14 year old sister asked me what it was about when we sat down - I had to alugh, bless her!), which was only ever meant for Michael Jackson's archives for personal viewing. ...of Jackson's video's and then Michael Jackson would emerge from the suit to perform 'Wanna Be Starting Somethin'. There is a small snippet of footage showing the dancers rehearsing a "toaster" mechanism whereby they would literally jump out of the floor.
