Advantages: Amazing Concert
Disadvantages: Not Very Many Special Features

Having liked Jamiroquai for a few years now, but never being able to go to one of their concerts, I was keen to buy this DVD. First of all, the location of the concert is great. It is in a large Roman outdoor stadium/ampitheatre which is unusual, but works well with the songs. Also, through the whole concert it is pooring down with rain (really hard, a lot of other bands would have cancelled in this sort of weather), but Jay Kay still continues. ...
...- as it kicks up when he dances. The songs performed give a wide variety of Jamrioquai's music. The songs include: Corner of the Earth Virtual Insanity Twenty Zero One (my favourite) Deeper Underground Cosmic Girl Canned Heat Bad Girls Love Foolosophy And a few more. Having been a fan of Gorillaz ever since they released Clint Eastwood, I was very interested when I saw they were releasing a DVD. Having always been a band as much about image as music with their cartoon image drawn by Jamie Hewlett, the DVD format would seem ideal for their songs. ...pressing a room in the Gorillaz mansion allowing the videos to be watched separately but with the relevant extras. The sub menus are joined together perfectly by short animated sequences through the corridors of ‘Kong Studios’ I guess a downside of ‘celebrity take down’ is that there are only 5 full videos and 2 virtually identical performances of Clint Eastwood at the Brit Awards and in Japan. ...if you are keen on the career of the band, you will realize that their music has changed as time went by. "Breathless" is different from "Runaway". If you prefer a period than anotheir of their work, you'd rather stick to theirs CD albums. ...Its fair to say that Josh Groban has not been adequately promoted in the UK, but If like me you first noticed Josh and his voice through his guest appearances on popular tv show Ally McBeal you will not be dissapointed by this DVD. Josh grabs the audience's attention and you are mesmerised throughout the 90 minute show. His performance of the wonderful tracks "You're still you", "Let me Fall", "To where you are" and my particular favourite "Broken ...
...after of the concert from Josh and his family and friends. All this and a CD of live performances from the concert.. What more could you ask for? Disadvantages: Best to be watched all in one go - do you have enough time? Can you avoid interuptions?

...it is without a doubt the most angst filled and depressing albums put out by the band. 1989 saw the release of 'Disintegration', which followed in the same vain of depressing themes, mainly relating to lost love. 2000 saw the release of Bloodflowers, another album with sadly depressing songs, although things are a lot lighter here as opposed to the angst ridden Pornography album.
