Metallica normally need very little introduction. Most people will have at least heard of them, if not having actually listened to their music. One of the heaviest, biggest and most successful heavy metal bands of all time, Metallica have been playing for well over two decades now. They've done everything from recording classic metal albums, (e.g. 'Master Of Puppets', 'The Black Album'), to releasing their own Rockumentry movie, ('Some Kind Of Monster'). ...
...night and shows exactly why Metallica are one of the best live bands to have ever existed. The performances are outstanding. From a musical perspective the group are tight, with Lars and Jason providing a stable frame which James' rhythm playing enforces and allows Kirk to launch into his solos. I wouldn't say the performances are flawless, (Kirk fluffs a few notes during some solos, James struggles with the vocal ranges on some earlier songs, etc.) ...

Advantages: All that's best from Fleetwood Mac; better than the CD alone
Disadvantages: Will they ever do it again

If you possess the CD, fine – but you have not experienced the whole thing. This is the way to take the blindfold off. I own both (the DVD and the CD). Review of Fleetwood Mac - The Dance (DVD)

A musical masterpiece from the king of pop

Advantages: Includes Thriller, Smooth Criminal and the live performance of Billie-Jean
Disadvantages: None that I can think of!

Sweet Little DVD!

Advantages: Cheap, with a good mix of songs
Disadvantages: Sound quality is bad

There are 18 tracks, which have been recorded in video, instead of film so it has a very good "live" feel, instead of looking too glossy. Before the concert starts, there's a little bit of back stage footage which came up as "Track 1" on the DVD player. Review of Wet Wet Wet - Playing Away At Home (DVD)

No-Man in concert an experience not to be missed!

Advantages: A great live DVD for lovers of crafted, beautiful music.
Disadvantages: Not long enough!

No-Man are (currently) Tim Bowness and Steven Wilson, a UK duo who have an occasional recording partnership that spans over 20 years.
