Advantages: Probably the best budget music making software on the market today! Disadvantages: Tendency to crash! Takes quit a while to install!
I have always been a lover of the Magix music software products and have used them for many years to compose my own songs, I reviewed the 2005 version a while back.
For anyone on a budget who wants to have a go at creating there own music then Magix software is very hard to beat. Although not as easy as the drag and drop file ( painting ) say of Acid software this is nevertheless a fantastic tool for music creation for beginner or professional alike. Acid being much more expensive by the way.
There's some real nice additions to this new version, most notably the VST instruments. The so called Vital instruments by Yellow Tools are really quite amazing. The Piano has to be the the most realistic i have heard so far! The guitar is superb too. I found this to be the best new feature ,but be warned you do have to purchase a license ...
Advantages: Great story, good actng, good music Disadvantages: Hugh Grant's vocals are average
predictable and both me and hubby had worked the ending out after only watching about the first half hour but this did not really bother either of us and it was still nice to watch.
The music in the film was very good and I did like some of the old 80?s songs which were played and also the current tracks. I think this added a lot to the film. The film was set in the present day so not much time and effort was needed for the settings and costumes and they all did look very nice and fitted in well with the story. I did find the shots which were supposed to have been from the 80?s looked authentic and the costumes were great and they certainly showed what crazy clothes people used to wear!

ones. For example, if I wanted a Rico number 3, I would buy a Vandoren 2 , in order to get the same sound.
Rico also have a Royal and a premium range which are a little more expensive but certainly last longer. The best place to buy these and to try out the range is in a big music store, or online at somewhere like Gear for Music. Rico also do a plastic coated reed which is harder to get used to but lasts a lot longer and you don?t have to worry about breaking it in before you can play.
Every clarinet player has their own favourite brand and strength of reed, but I prefer to use a fairly soft one and to change reeds very often, so the low price of the Rico standard ones certainly suits me best. I would rather have a ready supply of cheap, fresh reeds, that try to play with a split reed to save buying new ones.
Rico reeds are ...
