Well what can i say about this film?!?!

WHAT A BRILLIANT PRODUCTION!

It is mostly a comedy film with romance and a bit of drama - and at times emotional! i certainly had tears in my eyes at some points!
The dialogues are brilliant - you will find yourself rolling on the floor with laughter - especially due to the "tapori" language! Tapori language is the tweaking of the Hindi language and is used by "bhai"s in India - people part of "gangs" who kidnap, threaten, break bones and get money by physical force.

Story: (but dont worry i wont give the whole thing away!)

Murli Prasad Sharma, Munna (Sanjay Dutt) left his village to go to Mumbai after his father Hari Prasad Sharma (Sunil Dutt) wants him to become a doctor.
In Mumbai, however, Munna has turned into a "bhai" and is helped by his sidekick, Circuit (Arshad Warsi).

Munnabhai's parents go to see him every year, unaware of what he really is doing - they think he is a doctor running a charity hospital. When Munnabhai hears his parents are coming, he gets his gang to set up his "charity hospital" - them wearing long white coats, stethoscopes, running around patients.
However, this charade all falls apart when his dad meets an old friend Dr Asthana (Boman Irani). His dad finds out the truth and doesn't speak to Munnabhai after this.
This film is about Munnabhai's journey to actually become a doctor! And a hilarious one it is!

This is definately one worth watching! AND you can watch it over and over again - you still wouldnt get bored of the humour! ive lost count of how many times ive watched it!

The songs in the film are quite good, and the thing about them is that they contribute to the story of the film. Theyre not just added unnecessarily.

Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to play the main role! I really dont think that the film would've been a massive hit if that happened! Sanjay Dutt did an excellent job in the lead role, but credit should be given to Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani as well, for bringing the extra humour to the film.

This is the first Bollywood film that is going to be re-done in Hollywood! I can't wait to see how that one turns out!

Now, there is Munnabhai 2 - "Lage Raho Munnabhai", which is a sequel, and has also received many awards for its humour.
Currently, Munnabhai 3 (Munnabhai Chale Amerika), is being made, and if you've seen the preview trailors, I think you'd agree that it will also be a very big hit!

You can buy this from various sites, including Play.com, for £16.99.
It has subtitles, so it doesnt matter if you dont understand the Hindi language. However, the subtitles may be a bit off the actual translation, and it may confuse some of you, but you'd get the gist of it.

The film lasts 2 hours and 35 minutes, which isn't too long for a Bollywood movie!

Cast: Sunil Dutt, Sanjay Dutt, Gracy Singh, Jimmy Shergill, Arshad Warsi, Rohini Hattangady and Boman Irani
Director: Rajkumar Hirani
Producer: Vidhu Vinod Chopra
Music: Anu Malik
Dialogues: Abbas Tyrewala
Writers: Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Conclusion:

Its BY FAR the BEST film i have watched in my entire life! Although it isn't really realistic, Munnabhai MBBS is hilarious film, which can cheer you up instantly!
I would recommend this to EVERYONE and I'd give it much more than 5 stars if there were that many!!!!!
