I like a verity of things, but books, music and films are the main things as they all stimulate the imagination. I'm also currently studing things like Graphics, Photography Media and Film so they all obvioulsy interest me as well.

Basic plot:
An attack on China from the Huns which in turn causes war between the two, a male from each family is called to fight in the war though Mulan can not bear to see her aging and crippled father go to war. She disguises herself as a man and bravely takes her father's place in the imperial army. Along the way her ancestors send Mushu – a small not dragon (Note not Lizard!) to bring her home safely. Though Mushu wishing to be once again a gardenia takes Mulan into the heart of the war and where the main plot begins.
Opinion:
I had a personal interest to see this film as I went around the Disney studio while they were creating this particular piece.
The story is one that moves as a steady pace though not to slow as to bore you or the child to the stage you turn it off but isn’t so fast paced you can’t keep up. This particular film has many twists and turns within the main plot to keep the audience captured from the beginning to end, making it a film that can keep your interest and make you able to re-watch.
The film holds a lot of humour though can also keep you on the edge of your seat in anticipation. The character Mushu is played by the voice of Eddie Murphy, this character brings a large percentage of the humour into the story "Dragon, dragon! Not lizard, I don't do that tongue thing." (Flicks tongue).
The music in which is used throughout the movie is excellent in my opinion. The use of the music in the different places brings more emotion and life to the scenes which in turn bring the story and characters more alive.
As the story continues you see a play of different emotions and the history behind the story as the main plot continues. Though I’m not very big on history topics, I feel that this film, though based on an historical event it does not force feed it down your throat so-to-speak and as you become more involved in the plot you forget about the main historical facts in which you are being feed.
I feel that this film is suitable for mainly any age though I think it would be more appreciated by the older generation of children. 10+ years I feel is a suitable age, but don’t get me wrong the younger children can watch it I just feel that the plot may go over the younger generous head.
With the different aspects of the movie played through, by the end of the movie you’ll find yourself either in tears of joy or/and sat on the edge of your seat wanting more.
I would recommend this film to many of the people I know for either a rainy day in or just for wanting an interesting film that would keep their attention.
