Well as a 21 year old I really shouldn't be buying Mr Men DVD's but alas, I am. I used to love the series as a kid so was extremely chuffed when I saw it was out on DVD!
I bought the DVD off Amazon for 9.99, it was also available as old/used which was slightly cheaper.

(+) The DVD is fairly cheap to buy and is accessible in most shops. It keeps children entertained. (-) It make cats look bad and children believe anything.
Advantages: Classic kids tv, episodes not too long, it's the Mr Men! Whats not to like?? Disadvantages: Only 13 episodes on a DVD means its not that long

>All your old faves like Mr Happy, Mr Small etc all together once more!

For all the kiddies:
>Each episode is just long enough to entertain, and not so long that they lose interest >With all the "and do you know what he did next?" etc bits, it means they can get involved and (dare I say it) maybe even learn something, rather than just sit there blankly (nice little moral lessons like 'its not nice to be rude to people' and 'if your greedy a giant will eat you') >It's very unoffensive and all the stories have a nice little ending where everything turns out well. >Since each episode is a story in itself, and doesnt link into others, it means you can just put on an episode and then get them to go off and do something else, none of this 'aww but i want to see what happens next' business
So whether you want to keep the kids quiet for half an hour, or just want to pretend your young again, bring some Mr Men into your life!
