Hi, I'm a student living in the East Midlands area. I'm into reading (very) and an avid movie watcher, so much so I'm studying a degree in film. I'm currently writing my own book, so maybe one day it'll be reviewed on here. Be kind, yeah?

Not filmic genius, but pretty darned entertaining. The main premise of the film is that Mr and Mrs Smith are members of opposing spy organisations. Their bosses realise what has happened and try to make them kill each other by sending them to kill the same man. The plan fails and Mr and Mrs Smith soon realise themselves what is happening and have to try to survive. I especially liked the fact that Jolie came off so much better than Pitt through most of this film. Mrs Smith was the one with the plan, who did everything smoothly and efficiently and always got the upper hand. Mr Smith was clumsy and had a habit of running in headfirst without thinking of consequences. You could see the chemistry between Pitt and Jolie and it's unsurprising that they got together while making this film. The action sequences are very satisfying to watch and the dialogue between Jolie and Pitt throughout the film is fantastic, especially when they're at their most vindictive. The scene in which they discuss the various lies they've told each other through-out their marriage is classic. Not so much an action movie as a comedy. Definitely worth a watch.
