OH MY GOD!!
What on earth was that all about?
Am I the only sane person on this planet? Am I the equivalent to the little boy in the "Emperor's new Clothes", ya know, the one who points out to eveyone that the emperor isn't actually wearing clothes!!!!
This film is absolute drivvel!!
I don't know where to begin really, I really am completely stunned that this has won awards and everything!!! It's all done for the world of lovvies, who are adamant that Moulin Rouge is the way forward. "A fantastic piece of cinema".
Do you know, I'd love for them to explain to me what it was about, but I was left speechless!!
Nicole Kidman is beautiful, but completely nuts!! (credit where it's due though, she can actually sing - as can Ewan McGregor).
I'd love to give you a proper review, but there's nothing to write!!
Fancy singing "Like a Virgin" in the "stylee" of 18th Century France!
What I don't understand, is why I never heard the truth about how boring it was. People's real opinions. All I heard was that it was an epic, a masterpiece. What Bull!!!
I think it was designed for those people that pretend to have an ounce of education, so they can say "Moulin Rouge? oh, fabulous dahling" - and totally think it was pants. (These people are also guilty of making the cheapest of purchases in Harrods, just to get a Harrods bag, then hang it in full view of family and friends).
Nothing good to say about it i'm afraid.
The polished one.
(P.S, I know you'll write on my comments that I should've included more information about the film, but I really can't, I totally did not know what was going on!)
Moulin Rouge? Loved it dah-ling! ;-) I loved this film...oops! I did! Shame you didn't, but it was one of those love/hate kinda things, you either it despise or adore it. Maybe it was Ewan who swung it for me ;-) Phwoar!
Lyns x
is total immersion cinema and while you're experiencing it ("watching" is too passive a word) you can't imagine that cinema could be for anything else. In the harsh, obj...
