Advantages: Brilliant footage, lots of it, flexible. Disadvantages: The races weren't very good in 2000, useless menu system, typically poor commentary.
With the 2001 Formula One season having drawn to a close, petrolheads like myself are forced to look for other means of getting our F1 fix. For the first time, the season review of Formula One has been released on DVD, allowing for a far more extensive season guide than has been produced before.
In raw terms the difference is noticeable immediately - the VHS season guides typical feature around two hours of footage; the 2000 season DVD has 255 minutes of digital material. Each race can be viewed independently from the main 'Super' channel, incorporating track views, on-board cameras (OBC) and shots from the pitlane. Alternatively, the interactive feature allows you to flick between shots either from the main 'Super' channel or from an alternative trackside view, an OBC, the pits or the data stream.
It's a great concept but ...
Advantages: My mother likes this film Disadvantages: There is no plausible reason to like this film
Tony Scott's TOP GUN was released in 1986 and is still today the ladies favourite, a movie my dear old mother, who doesn't like movies, will actually sit through until the end, again and again and again, for which I'm very much grateful, but the question is why?

Now, because this wall poster of a hero is the best at what he does, he is sent to Miramar Naval Air Station deep in the heart of America where the greatest fighter pilot trainers in the world, American, train the greatest fighter pilots in the world, also funnily ...

Advantages: Sometimes scary, sometimes funny Disadvantages: Cheap, nothing special

An asteroid somewhere in outer-space is home, or prison, to some very nasty creatures who manage to escape when they hijack a spaceship. They crash land on Earth, in a small American town, and soon start wreaking havoc amongst the community, first on a cow and then on a farm. Meanwhile, intergalactic police are on their trail. They send to Earth two bounty hunters who have the ability to morph into anything they see fit, one a famous rock star and the other of various disguises, to aid them in their hunt of the increasingly deadly critters.
I remember enjoying this low-budget film much more the first time round but, if truth be told, I still somewhat ...
