Advantages: small and light Disadvantages: pc interface isnt as tough as it could be
me an excuse to buy the at the time shiney new to the market Mosquito.
The advantage it has over the previous watch is that it is much smaller, and lighter but its 'face' is just as clear and easy to read as the larger earlier model. On top of this is that it has a pc interface which though the software and connection cable have to be purchased separately mean that you can use your pc or laptop to store a complete record of your dives. It was also among the first commonly avaliable computers to have a user replaceable battery, which when the unit gets regular use can work out substantially cheaper than having to keep sending it away to the manufacturers.
General features of the Mosquito are that it does function as a digital watch when you aren't in the water, albeit for me an overly large one, as well as the dive mode which will ...

Overview
The Mosquito Coast is without a doubt in my opinion one of the best movies that Harrison Ford has ever been involved in; and sadly it's also one of his most forgotten films. His performance in the movie is nothing less than brilliant; his character addresses the facts that most of us hate about modern life and turns them away creating a life that many of us secretly desire. But in doing so he becomes a victim of the very system that he struggled so hard to get away from ...
Advantages: very easy to read underwater Disadvantages: battery life not very good
Very easy to use wrist diving computer. The information provided is clear and the digits are large enough to read underwater. Information provided when diving is depth, time, no decompression time, water temperature, ascent rate, safety stop and nitrox mix.
As a scuba diving instructor I have had 3 Mosquito's and always found them to be reliable, even after many hours of diving.
As the computer is on all the time it can be used as a watch, the bracelet is black rubber and the facing comes in different colours.
An additional extra is the face protector which I would recommend to avoid scratching the glass.
Down side is that the battery life is only around 6 months, but the battery change is not too expensive to replace. It is always recommended that you have the battery changed by a Suunto dealer who will also provide a limited ...

DVD Description
Two fighter pilots have become close friends while fighting for the RAF in World War II. When one of the fighter pilots dies, the survivor develops a relationship with his dead friend's wife. Boris Sagal's combat film is memorable for its incredible footage of the Mosquito bomber planes used by the British Royal Air Force. The final sequence has also been sighted as an influence on George Lucas' Death Star sequences in the original STAR WARS.
