Advantages: Great cast, epic military scenes Disadvantages: Very long, not always compelling
involve thousands of planes and even more parachutists are quite a sight, and are one of the best reasons to watch this film.
My second major criticism of this film is that with such a vast number of cast, we don't really get up close and personal with any one of the characters, so it does not allow you to really start to care about any of them in particular.
Also, the main reason behind this is that with the action spread over an entire country, indeed with many other scenes in Britain aswell, the film jumps around fartoo much which not only caused me some confusion at times, but means that pieces of the storyline are missing with entire troop movements missing.
As with all war films, the words sad, poignant and moving spring to mind, and at times this really shines through, but not often enough.
This film really does show off ...
Advantages: none Disadvantages: loads of scenes and music scores have been cut out
this is the only fools and horses complete collection boxset but in my eyes it isnt because loads of scenes have been cut and musical scores changed or cut out and laughter tracks added onto episodes that didnt originally have a laughter track. so its not really the complete collection is it with all these things changed and added the episode a royal flush is the one that been edited the most loads of scenes have been cut and a laughter track added wich spoils the episode completely. i would strongly recommend anyone that want to see all the episodes in all their glory is to tape them off uk gold its better than this so called complete collection that the bbc have released im still waiting for the genuine complete collection. ...
Advantages: Well acted, Great Book Adaptation Storylines, Fun for All Ages Disadvantages: Each Movie is About Three Hours Long
be ignored by the overall storyline.
I was slightly disapointed by this third story since it really didn't go by the books my L.M Montgomery at all. The first two movies are at least based on her books , but this movie was almost entirely made up. I was hoping the third movie would follow the other books about Anne as she is grown up with Children.
Still, the movie was well made and entertaining. It was good to see the actors again, and the costumes anad attention to detail from the World War I era are fantastic. It's not as good as the first two movies, but well worth a watch.
******Conclusion*****
All these movies in the BoxSet; Anne of Green Gables, The Sequel , and The Continuing Story, are so much fun. Children around the age of 7 and up will enjoy the first one. While children more around the age of 10 and up would ...

In MOSQUITO SQUADRON, an elite squadron of Mosquito aircraft is tasked with destroying a secret German rocket factory located deep beneath a French chateau used to house Allied POWs. 633 SQUADRON is a World War II story of a group of daring Mosquito flyers who attempt to bring down a cliff which overhangs a German munitions factory in a Norwegian fjord. A BRIDGE TOO FAR gives an account of the Battle of Arnhem during 1944, part of an Allied attempt to expedite the end of the war with a costly operation to capture six bridges connecting Holland to Germany.
