Six disks of pure monty python brilliance!!
Each disk contains approx 1 hour off footage, comprising ofinterviews with the actors andmost importantly thier bits sketches.
Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin are all individually hillarious and put together, well, thats just amazing.
Certificate 12 as they contain moderate language, sex references and comic bloddy violence.

Some of my Personal favourite sketches would have to be
The cheese shop
The bishop
Self defence
and the fish slap dance

In my mind the most funny sketches ever!!

The cheese shop includes john cleese as the man who is wanting to buy the cheese, he goes into the shop and repeatidly asks for differnt cheese and each time the shop keeper says he hasent got any. Anyway this goes on for agais until he shoots the shopkeeper and walks out. Doesnt sound very funny but trust me on film it is!!

Self-defence is an army self defence class with john cleese being the instructor and the others as trainies. They are studying self-defence if someone attacks you with fruit! hillirously funny even though it is totataly predictable.

The fish slap dance is a shorter skecth with no actually conversation involved. One man slaps the other with a small fish repedidly doing a funny dance, then when his shots over the other man takes a huge fish and whollapes the guy into the canal. All time classic.

I really like monty python as the comedy is on 2 levels , i watches some of the sketches years ago with my dad and found them funny but now when i watch them i understand more and find it hilarious. absolutly amazing stuff!!
There is just this thing about them that is so funny.
An altime must see DVD!!

An over all great collection that every one can enjoy even if u havent seen them before. the terrible effects in parts makes it even funnier and a true family comedy on more than one level ( if your over 12!)
10/10!!!!
