Money Train just tries to do too many things. On one hand, it feels like a romantic-comedy as it explores the relationship between the adopted brothers John (Snipes) and Charlie (Harrelson) and their squabbles over beautiful fellow cop, Grace Santiago (Jennifer Lopez). Then there's this subplot involving Charlie and his gambling habits and the money he owes to nightclub owner Donald Patterson (Robert Blake); and another involving a madman that likes to visit the subway and set alight females in the ticket booth just for the fun of it.
Whilst this allows Snipes and Harrelson to play off one another, the actual point of the whole movie -- robbing the money train -- seems neglected to the bottom of the pile. Occasionally, Harrelson tempts us with the odd comment about going through with his plan, but not until about an hour-and-ten-mins in do we actually see it come into play. Even then, the whole "master-plan" seems incredibly easy to pull off (had it not been for a couple of cops loitering around the point of escape Charlie would've gotten away with the money within a matter of minutes).
I won't deny that I laughed quite a few times at the jokes in the film, and I did enjoy some of the well-choreographed action scenes -- there's a great one where Snipes goes on an arse-kicking spree in a nightclub to defend his "brother" -- but these moments weren't good enough to overcome my frustration of sitting through an incredibly disjointed storyline. My point being: There's no point having action if the suspense is in short supply.
Advantages: Good chemistry between the two leads, action Disadvantages: Average plot, typical action movie

Advantages: Good Movie Disadvantages: could have been written better
This film isn't too well known despite the fact that it has three reasonably big name stars; Jennifer Lopez, Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes. The three actors play detectives who work on the underground and tackle crime on the subway and this leads to some funny parts in the movie, such as Wesley Snipes nearly been taken home by too large lusty women. The story revolves around Harrelson's character being a compulsive gambler who owes thousands ... ...also follows Harrelson's and Snipes runin's with the man in charge of the underground and his 'Money Train', the train that brings the takings of the underground to the HQ. I won't give anymore away but there is a reasonable amount of action and it is a decent story with plently of enbtertainment value. For fans of the actors in the movie it is a must and anyone else will find it at least worth watching. I myself enjoyed it. ...

Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson star in their third film together (after Wildcats-Goldie Hawn as American football coach, nothing special, and White Men Can't Jump), unfortunately, following the stateside success of White Men Can't Jump, some deemed it to be cashing in on the basketball movie's popularity with their pairing. Advantages: The sheer balls Avery has to dare present this DVD to us is admirable Disadvantages: It's a sham. A horrible sham which makes money off other people's suffering
a director. Gandolfini, presumably trying to get this labourer to leave him alone, told him that what any film needs is a good story. Avery went away from this with one thought in his mind: what if he wrote a spoof story about how 9/11 was an inside job? Avery himself is the first to admit this as true. However, he then always says that as he researched the incident, he found several inconsistencies and started to believe that perhaps there was a cover-up of some kind...!
This turnaround in his beliefs, of course, is entirely unrelated to the fact that he started making his money as conspiracy theories read his claims and took them to be genuine, and sent him money to fund the project.
The Loose Change DVD has three main trains of thought:
1: The Pentagon was not hit by a plane. It was hit by a cruise missile instead.
2: The planes ...

Advantages: Great eye opener to big wave surfing Disadvantages: It is a bit comercial
BILLABONG ODYSSEY
To start off with I would like to say that I am not normally Billagongs biggest fan. I fell the are making a lot of money selling over priced clothing by using surfings image. However I would have to admit they make a good film.
There are some people in this country who think surfing is a bit sissy, (normally skaters). This film will make them realise that there is a lot more to surfing than they think and even on a general scale is probably the most dangerous sport due to the unreliability and power of the sea.
STORY
This film is about Billabong gathering together some of the biggest names in big wave surfing and setting out to find the biggest wave they can.
Being a large company, Billabong throw a lot of money into this "quest" and supply lt jet ski's and helicopters ect.

DVD Description
A pair of New York City transit cops (Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes), who also happen to be constantly bickering foster brothers, try to thwart the theft of the subway system's "money train," while dreaming of someday robbing it themselves. This explosive action flick drew the ire of government officials when a similar robbery attempt occurred after the film's release.
