...“The 40Year Old Virgin” was written by Judd Apatow and Steve Carell and released back in September 2005.
****Story line****
Andy (Steve Carell), the main character of this film, is a ‘geeky’ guy with the interests of a typical American teenager. Andy likes nothing more than playing computer games, playing the French horn, reading comics, collecting film/cartoon memorabilia and painting action figures.
David (Paul Rudd), Jay (Romany Malco), Cal (Seth Rogan) and Mooj (Gerry Bednob) are four employees of Smart Tech looking to arrange a poker game. Being a person down they reluctantly invite Andy to join them and are surprised when Andy accepts the offer.
During the poker game David, Jay and Cal begin discussing previous sexual conquests and are amazed to discover that Andy is still a virgin. The trio are informed that whilst...

Advantages: Hilarious Disadvantages: Needs a sequel!
...This has to be one of the funniest films I've ever seen. Not really knowing anything about Steve Carell before watching this film, I did not really have any expectations. I knew of Paul Rudd and was a big fan of his. Seth Rogan was merely a rising star at the time I saw this film. I really had no idea what a classic comedy this was going to be. From the start to the very surreal ending, I was in stitches of laughter. The plot of the film is a very simple one; a 40year old guy has never managed to 'do it' and does not really seem capable of doing the deed. His workmates discover this fact and set out to help him on a quest which he never really wanted to embark on in the first place. There are some bizzarre, surreal and disgusting cenes in this film but all are comedy gold....

...Forty-year-old virgin
I am reviewing the 2005 DVD forty-Year-Old Virgin starring Steve Carell who plays Andy a 40year old who works in an electronic store.
He has a good job, a fun life style, nice house but he has yet to do one thing…. Have Sex.
When word gets out at Andy’s work, all the guys work together to try and get him a date, or even a one night stand … but no nothing works…until he meets Trish. Trish is the lady who works across the street in an ebay store, who happens to take a fancy to Andy one day when she was in the electronics store.
Dates begin, the two are mad about each other, and all his workmates are all happy for him until they find out a little arrangement between the 2.
The Front Cover
If you are looking for this movie in shops, look for a yellow and on the front cover a man sitting drinking coke...
