Mist : The Tale of A Sheepdog Puppy is a family film directed by Richard Overall and based on the children's stories by David Kennard. Mist was released in the United Kingdom on December 25th 2006.
Mist is a family film about a sheepdog puppy named Mist. The storyline revolves around Mist learning how to be a proper sheepdog and shows her growing up from a puppy into an adult.
Mist is suitable for all ages , although aimed at children , I know of a few adults who have loved this film. I have always loved sheepdogs , having being brought up with them , so this film was perfect for me. Kids will absolutely love this film ; Mist is so cute and cuddly , and the characters of the other dogs are really amusing too ; my favourite being Mist's snobby Auntie Fern!
I loved the voice-overs and narrator as they make the story sound so much more exciting and I loved the different accents and voices that the older dogs were given. The voice overs were good , but I thought the filming was really good too and I could even watch it with the sound on or not! You will love it!
The scenery in this movie is beautiful. The film was filmed in Devon, and includes scenes by the sea and on the rocks.
I would definitely recommend this movie , to kids and adults , sheepdog lovers and for anyone who liked the film Babe.
