Band Of Brothers Blue-Ray Box Set------Amazing
Review of Band Of Brothers (Box Set) (Blu-Ray) by  J.Barford

Advantages: Blue-Ray At Its Best
Disadvantages: None

...I had watched Band Of Brothers many of times with the Normal DVD box set, but with the all new Blu-Ray edition it has enlightened my eyes with sharpness and detail in the best action sequences from blowing up bulidings with a mortar to bullit wizzing sounds with the quality of the new surround sound that you can get with this Blu-Ray edition. As you may have read Band of Brothers is a ten-part television World War II miniseries based on the book written by historian and biographer Stephen Ambrose. It was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The narrative experiences of EasyCompany of the 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, from Easy's basic training at Toccoa, Georgia, through the American airborne landings in Normandy, Operation Market Garden, the Battle... Want blu-ray too? Then it's a no brainer
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 Slim (PS3) by  namespace

Advantages: It's a media center, great games, blu-ray, excellent online integration and interface
Disadvantages: Secondary controllers are not cheap, can't play PS2 games on it.

...I joined the console world recently having been a die-hard fps player for years and was very pleasantly surprised with my new PS3. The toss up was between a Wii, the Xbox and the PS3 and I went for the PS3 basically because of the blu-ray player. Also, Microsoft won't want to turn the Xbox into too much of a media centre so as not to dent the 'Windows media centre' sales, and the Wii whilst fun is old tech. When it arrived I discovered more reasons apart from gaming that the PS3 is great and here they are: 1) It's a media center, e.g. plug in a normal USB hard drive and play music files, play video files view pics. Sweet. 2) You can get a relatively cheap remote control and your PS3 instantly replaces your DVD player and is a nice Blu-Ray player too. 3) This slim PS3 is really quiet and consumes less power. 4... Batman Begins/ Dark Knight Blu Ray Box
Review of The Dark Knight/Batman Begins (Box Set) (Blu-Ray) by  RobWallace101

Advantages: Great Films, Good Value for Blu Ray
Disadvantages: Still cheaper to buy normal DVD and the difference isnt that huge

...this film is nothing short of AMAZING, he will make you walk around asking people " Why So Serious" Trust Me.... buy this film... just to see him in his final and finest hour. Final Thoughts: I think this is a fairly good value for money box set. Prices on Blu Ray can stil be a bit high so i thought this was a bargain . One last thing i do feel though..... At the moment i feel the difference between Blu Ray and normal DVD on a HDTV isnt enough to convince me to pay an extra ten pounds for a movie. So.... If you are definately moving into Blu Ray... Buy this If you dont yet have Blu ray... Dont worry, You can pick both movies up for under £15 if you know where to look.... Read review
