Disadvantages: Already have a lot of this music on CD so a bit of a waste of money

What Is It? The Ministry of Sound 'Anthems 1991- 2008' is a CD set which is a mixture of the best dance songs, mixed by the Ministry of Sound, over the last 17 years. This is a 3 CD box set which contains 63 famous dance anthems of the last 2 decades. Why Buy It I bought this as I have always been a huge fan of the Ministry of Sound. I am not old enough to have heard the stuff before around 2000 as I only got into dance music in the last 5 years and am only 15 so it adds up. Anyway I had heard a lot of the material on this CD on the radio and really enjoyed it, but I wanted now to be able to listen to it in the space of my own home on my i-pod of CD player. The annual 2007

Advantages: Great music to have dance too
Disadvantages: Bit Samey

I got this album for christmas and was unsure whether i would like it as i normally get clubland cds. I am very into my dance music and do buy alot of these cds. With the boxset you get 2 cd's and a DVD of Music videos which is original and i beleive you can only get this with the annual cd's. Unfortunatly it doesn't seem to have that many tracks on it for a big boxset and frankly most of them i haven't heard of but im up for new music!! It all depends on what type of music you like but it seems to me that they have crammed all the good tunes at the beggining of the cd which doent make me want to listen to the rest, im always skipping tracks!! But its very beaty good to dance i suppose good backround music but not party music. I have got previous annuals and it was the same i didn't most of the tracks but they where brought ...

Advantages: Some Classic Tracks, Lots of Music
Disadvantages: Some Poor Tracks

I am a huge fan of dance and trance, as well as house, hip hop and even the odd song from the likes of the sugababes, britney and christina. So as you can tell, I like a wide range of music and open to pretty much any genre. I buy most of the albums that Ministry of Sound release, because they are normally the first ones out. They also tend to pick the hits, both in the charts and in the clubs, for next year better than other compilations. This compilation album has been out for quite a while now and I bought it last year. It cost me £14 at the time. Although it is named the 'Annual 2004' it was released in 2003. This is how Ministry of Sound work, they name their albums on year ahead.
