I have always wanted to own at least one Michael Jackson concert on DVD and i was so glad that an issue of the Dangerous tour would be available to buy. The selection is among the best of his hits with Smooth Criminal being one of my favourite of the show with him alonside 5 other backing dancers execute the "anti-gravity" lean infront of thousands upon thousands of screaming fans.
The finale of the show was the fantastic with Michaels breathtaking performance of Man in the Mirror. The ending is something to be desired and so i will not give it away, very breathtaking though! I will give you only one clue.."Spacesuit" - Pick up the DVD and you will find out!
The special effects with the lighting and staging and trickery is fantastic with Michael appearing and dissapearing infront of your eyes to mix one song to another. To give you a feel of how large an operation this concert was the extravagant staging took nearly 3 days to set up, making headlines everywhere it went. More than 20 trucks of equipment were shipped between countries on cargo planes!
Lots of ad-lib also the songs sound the same but are performed with musical instruments and not the electro produced songs created in the studio to give a real raw feel to the concert.
Every song is performed live with no lip-synch and so you really get to know how fantastic Michael really is. The dancing is the highlight with a 3 minute billie jean dance after the song finishes to the beat, moonwalking, sidewalking, robots and fantastic impossible smooth moves galore.
I recommend that you buy this DVD is you think that Michael Jackson is simply a piece of overrated trash, i can guarantee tou will instantly change your mind. Use ebay or play as you can get yourself a good deal. I payed £9.99 and would have payed much much more.

Advantages: Good length, good picture, good sound, good music! Disadvantages: annoying crowd "passing out shots" (although funny!) No special features
...concert of the Dangerous tour, Michael went all out with at least 14 songs in this performance (including the medley). The special bit (spoiler here!) is the take off at the end - yes! Michael Jackson takes off in a jet pack into the night sky! This all following a Man in the Mirror performance. Once the performance finally gets off after a fairly annoying start where he stands there for a good two minutes as the crowd scream; he comes to life in ... ...the speed and driving base in the song allow everyone to enjoy the mesmerizing stage experience. You have the best seat in the house on this DVD, and when you see how far back the crowd goes, youll be glad you have the view you have!!!! One lame point is that the DVD has no special features or "backstage" passes to see what went on behind the scenes of the tour, or indeed the Bucharest concert - that would have been interesting. Once again, amazing ...

I am a bit biased when it comes to Jacko because I have been a big fan since I was a child.
I saw him in concert for his Bad tour at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1988 and I was blown away by how good he was on stage. This Dangerous concert is basically a good collection of his great music - just a shame he didint do more from his actual Dangerous Album. To me it seemed like he was miming quite alot on this concert because it sounded like the actual album. ... ...dancing and a great stage presence.
The dancing was out of this world especially on Billie Jean.
If youre a Jacko fan this is a must see. The concert is about 2 hours long and is none stop.
The track list is a mixture of old and new.
Thriller, beat it, bille Jean, man in the Mirror, I just cant stop loving you. Jam, Black or White. As I said great mixture ...

In 1992 Michael Jackson went on his world wide famous tour, the "The Dangerous Tour" This is one the most famous concerts preformed by Michael Jackson and was televisied all over the world in 60 different countries.Altho people say he's a litte weird and undoutably he is this still doesn't change the fact that he is a great live preformer and altho on occasions his voice is lacking a little like his voice on the song Thriller is almost as good as ... ...and his elaberate preformances like the jet pack at the end altho not actually michael Jackson still brings togther a truely great concert and is well worth buying and watching, with 16 of his famous songs available to watch you won't be bored during this 2 hours of live preformance. ...
