About a year ago, I decided that I loved the video so much that I should go out and buy the DVD of it. So that's what I did.
I have most of Michael's videos/ DVDs- Dangerous the short films, History ... ..."Ghosts"! I love watching MIchael on film, he takes you away to another place away from all of your problems for a couple of hours.
Here's what's on the DVD-
Teaser-
A short film of Michael. It has lots of fans and it has a giant statue of Michael up, with helicopters and everything! The effects are quite something!

About a year ago, I decided that I loved the video so much that I should go out and buy the DVD of it. So that's what I did.
I have most of Michael's videos/ DVDs- Dangerous the short films, History on Film-Volume 1 (similar to this one) Moonwalker, and even "Ghosts"! I love watching MIchael on film, he takes you away to another place away from all of your problems for a couple of hours.
Here's what's on the DVD-
Teaser- A short film of Michael. It has lots of fans and it has a giant statue of Michael up, with helicopters and everything! The effects are quite something!
1) Billie Jean- This is Michael's Motown performance in front of a huge audience. If you look closely in the audience you can see Janet Jackson and some other famous people being wowed by Michael's performance. It's one of his most famous performances because it's the first time people got to really see how good of a solo performer he was.
2) Beat It- Love this song and video. It's Michael trying to act "cool", it's about two rival gangs. At the end you see that it is live performance (or at least some of it is) because you see the stage and hear the cheers from the audience.
3) Liberian Girl- Not one of Michael's most famous songs. The video is quite funny, it has a load of celebrities in it like Olivia Newton -John and John Travolta, Whoopi Goldberg and Steven Spielberg. They're all looking for MIchael in the video because he's meant to be there, but he doesn't show up until the end. A decent video and song.
4) Smooth Criminal- One of my favourite Michael videos ever (or of any artist for that matter). The dance routines are truly amazing. It's from "Moonwalker" and is set in a club. The song is amazing, everyone knows it, and the video goes perfectly with the song, Michael looks really cool in his white suite and pulled down hat!
5) 1995 MTV Video Music Awards Performance- In front of a live audience, Michael performs many of his hits including Billie Jean, Dangerous and You Are Not Alone. It's a really good performance, and Slash from Guns n Roses plays guitar for him.
6) Thriller- An amazing video that just about everyone has seen. It's one of the best videos ever and shows how Michael likes to tell a story with his videos, they're captivating to watch and are like short movies. Michael at his best.
7) Scream- A duet with his sister Janet, it's a futuristic sort of video. I quite like it and the song is decent. It's also good to see the chemistry between Janet and Michael.
8) Childhood- Another not so famous song of Michael's. It's all about how he knows people think that he is strange but "Before you judge me, try hard to love me" and "Have you seen my childhood, I'm searching for that wonder in my youth". This song makes me cry because it's so sad that he missed out on his childhood and now people think he's weird for trying to make up for it.
9) You Are Not Alone- This video has Lisa-Marie Presley in it, it's kinda a weird video with the two of them, but it's a good song.
10) Earth Song- Showing what we have done and are doing to the world, it's quite sad and depressing, but it makes you want to change the world for the better and somehow make up for what we've done to it.
11) They Don't Care About Us- Set in Brazil. The songs about how the government and people don't care about us. It shows an angrier side to Michael!
12) Stranger In Moscow- I used to find this video quite boring as a child, again it's quite depressing, but I like the song now and I think the video gives a good effect.
MJ Megaremix- A compilation of the best of Michael's music, dance moves and talent!
13) Blood On The Dancefloor- Not so keen on this song or video, it's got Michael dancing in a club again with a girl. Not one of my favourite videos but ok.
Brace Yourself- A short video of Michael performing etc. Also shows the frenzy of the fans. The music is from "Carmina Burana".
MIchael Jackson was a very big part of my childhood, whenever I had a sleepover with one of my friends, we would watch him and listen to him and talk about him non-stop. I really appreciated his outlook on wanting to be like a child etc when I was younger and didn't see anything "weird" in it from a childs perspective. I still don't really having grown up now, and I am really thankful to him for making all of these fantastic videos to entertain people.
A brilliant DVD, for any fan of Michael or anyone who wants to see what phenomenal talent the man has, You will not be dissapointed!
Advantages: ALL AMAZING VIDEOS from Thriller Era to History Era Disadvantages: None from off the wall
...is teh first time when Michael showed his dancing abilities on stage, and for teh first time executed the moonwalk. This is a must see historical performace.
#2 Beat It
In this video michael is seen (in the famous beat it jacket) breaking up a fight between two rival gangs and encouraging them to dance togetehr instead. note: micheal used actual gang members in this video.
#3 Liberian Girl
This is a rarely talked about short film by jackson. ... ...the greatest short films by michael jackson or in fact anyone. It shows just how good a dancer and film maker michael is. It is based in a club, where michael fights the people who are out to get him whilst dancing. This is the only video where he executes his magical 45 degrees forward lean.
#5 1995 MTV Video Music Awards Performance
This performace defintely deserves to be here. Michael performs to a medley of all his greatest songs including ...
