DVD Description
A celebration of Michael Caine's most iconic films. Includes EDUCATING RITA (1983), Caine plays Dr. Frank Bryant, an alcoholic professor who tutors and befriends Rita (Julie Waters), a frustrated young housewife filled with wanderlust; THE FOURTH PROTOCOL (1987), Caine plays a senior British agent who gets demoted to a customs post, wherein he discovers impending Russian plot; THE EAGLE HAS LANDED (1976), John Sturges's adaptation of Jack Higgins's novel stars Caine as Nazi Col. Kurt Steiner, who has been court-marshaled for subordination. He is offered an assignment to go to England and kidnap Winston Churchill; THE IPCRESS FILE (1965), Caine plays master spy Harry Palmer, in this mystery thriller about an undercover gang who brainwash England's leading scientists; and WITHOUT A CLUE (1988) is a twist on the Sherlock Holmes stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This time, Dr. Watson's (Ben Kingsley) the one with the mystery-solving talents, while Holmes is nothing but his fictional creation. To satisfy the public's interest, Watson hires bubbling actor Reginald Kincaid (Caine) to play the part for real.
Advantages: Troughton and Hartnell in COLOUR! The 3 Doctor's interaction with each other. Disadvantages: The Gel Guards are pretty abysmal. Ah well, you can't have everything...
...and 3rd Doctors.
Bob Baker and Dave Martin had written Jon Pertwee DOCTOR WHO stories; The Claws of Axos and The Mutants before penning The Three Doctors. They went on to author five adventures for Tom Baker?s Doctor; The Sontaran Experiment, The Hand of Fear, The Invisible Enemy, Underworld and The Armageddon Factor.
The Three Doctors paved the way for future anniversary teamings. The Five Doctors followed in 1983, although Tom Baker appears only in footage from the ill-fated Douglas Adams story SHADA, and the first Doctor was portrayed by Richard Hurndall (William Hartnell having died in the mid-seventies). The Two Doctors teamed Patrick Troughton with the 6th Doctor, Colin Baker. The 35thanniversary was marked by the novel ?The 8 Doctors?, penned by prolific Doctor Who writer and production team member, Terrance Dicks.

Advantages: A dance feast galore for your eyes and ears Disadvantages: Much of the sameness throughout the shows
...I really loved Lord of the Dance and also Michael Flateley in Riverdance. I saw the original intermission act when it was on the Eurovision song contest and before it became really huge internationally. Its an asbolute phenomenon!
However I felt a little cheated by this product as it didnt clearly explain that Feet of Flames is more or less the same show as Lord of the Dance but revamped a bit and modernised somewhat by marginally different routines and marginally different set etc. But at the end of the day its more or less the same show. I do prefer the original lord of the dance show to Feet of Flames. Celtic Tiger is a different and got new routines, costumes and of course the Flatley himself, doing his usual thing and having his own moments alone on the stage showing off his fantastic tapping skills.
If you love Riverdance...
