with Me chronicles his crowd-pleasing performances on a triumphant tour. The audio portion kicks off with pair of new studio recordings that underline his 1950s-something leanings with mixed results: "Nice 'n' Easy" has a Sinatra-faithful jazzy swing; the overproduced, somnambulistic "Can't Help Falling in Love" evokes Perry Como more than Elvis. Most of the rest of the audio CD comprises live versions of songs from Bublé's debut, with his takes on "My Funny Valentine", "Fever", Van Morrison's "Moondance" and "Mack the Knife" again suggesting that Bublé has an ear cocked wisely towards Bobby Darin. With the notable exception of three elegant live-in-studio performances culled from Sessions@AOL, the live DVD does Bublé's undeniably charming stage presence a great disservice. Intercut awkwardly with offstage comments by Bublé and his band, the balance of that disc suffers from an MTV-inspired cut/dissolve-every-three-seconds style that's intended to focus one's attention, but does exactly the opposite. If sudden stardom virtually guarantees that Bublé's impossibly smooth, expressive voice seldom ventures very far outside the Sinatra/Darin mould here, it's to be hoped that he'll use that fame as a springboard to greater artistic challenges in the near future. --Jerry McCulley

I was able to buy the CD first not knowing that is a digipak version of the concert. I loved the album and purchased the DVD and even loved MichaelBuble more.

A breath of fresh air to my ears. Ok so there are some covers but a truly clear voice and very mellow. There is a variety of songs on this album all very professional and beautifully mixed. I would class MichaelBuble in the Easy Listening category, the melodies are very relaxing. He is a true professional and in my opinion this is true value for money. The backing singers and musicians he uses are a compliment to his singing style and sound.
The front cover is very clear showing who is singing and he looks very thought provoking too. Very easy to read the performer and the title of the album.

Its a good album. a couple of songs that arent what ive come to expect of his normal class judging by previous albums i have of his. Still very smooth and classy though and some really good catchy songs that you swing along to. I particularly 'recommend ive got the world on a string' and also his version of 'thats life'
'Me and Mrs Jones' features apparently Emily Blunt (his latest squeeze) doing backing vocals. Shes not bad, but theres not really much to going on to pass formal judgement.
I would say if your just getting introduced to Mr Buble, try one of the other albums first, Id recommend 'its time' id say thats his best. Ive also seen him live and hes very entertaining, definately gives you your moneys worth live! Dont judge him by this album, though its good in its own way. ...
