Like most I loved the first Men in Black film. So I had high expectations for the sequal. However it was quite clear from early on that this film really had no story line. There was no chemistry between the two main characters, none of the chemistry that made the first film a hit.
Some half hearted laughs came from the usual one liners from Will Smith. Nothing to the standard of his Fresh prince days though.
The only real reason to buy it when its realised on video/DVD is for the children. It will keep then quiet for a rather short 80minutes, compared to 120minutes roughly of most films.
My suggestion is to leave it. If you are really bored one night then rent it out on DVD. The cutouts/extras will make better viewing than the film.
